Im from Sweden and was there and saw it. And yes its only a concept. I did also see Lexus LFA and Toyota FT-86. Since this was one of the few concepts, i guess thats why it got so much attention.

its suppose to be the everyday car of the future, it looks nice, but if u put something like that on the market, a large portion of consumers would change to that style and demand more.......therefore, all the other car companies would have to start producing concepts, and we'd have a bunch of really nice looking affordable cars with no special functions(maybe doors)
