Hostias indeed inspires one into meditation, sacrifice, laudatory spirit & Worship of The Good Lord...powerfully beautiful chorale with its altos, sopranos, mezzosopranos, treble & tenor...from death to life, death is not the end, merely a transition... Rsurrection, Glorious Mystery...awesome icons & profoundly stirring words... tempo is accurate & perfect in precision, nuances & subtleties also exist...indeed Mozart's Masterpiece , he is a Giant Genius in classical music!! Thank you very kindly
I figured out why Mozart had the tenors descend from the dominant to the mediant in the first cadence at 4:08, but then had them stay at the dominant the second time around at 4:18. He is a genius.
Lovely pacing. Really brings out the melody and tension of the piece. The "period" nut-jobs play this much too fast such that it seems and ice-cream truck is rounding the church during the funeral.
Does this song remind anyone else of a kinda of rememberance-day kind of song? Like something that would be sung at a ceremony for rememberance day/veterans day?
@rheanneisafreak This song is actually a reqiuem, a song sung to remember the dead, usually at someones funeral. So it's something that could be sung to remember veterans or those that passed away
You hired an orchestra, a conductor and 100 singers to sing in your basement? OR Do you have 50,000 dollars worth of synthesizer equipment and you played it yourself from the original score untranslated by any person?
Amazing, this is what music does to the hearts, Just like regueton (Sarcasm)

Make sure to give credit in your description. Mozart maybe public domain, but the orchestra and conductor who arranged it is not. :)

I did it all in my basement, using protoolz.
