All this is called expresionism, started in Germany, of course the blood had to be super red 'cus it had to had contrst with the darkness of the film.

I can't believe they left out the lyrics. When its done right, the vocal harmony makes your skin crawl, it could be the best part of the whole show, and they left it out of the movie. But then again, the whole move is a weakly sung, and half acted.

I was sitting down with my mom and dad and we were gonna watch it and suddenly my dad goes "isn't this a musical?" right before Anthony starts singing. I thought it was gonna stink at first, but it wound up being one of the only musicals I enjoy and is currently my FAVORITE movie! SWEENEY ROCKS!!!

@GingaLEGEND100 the blood on set was orange and when the did all the color effects they gave it that dark red bloody tone... everything on set was much brighter in color then they kinda bleach it out and shadow it in some parts so hence the slightly irrealistic apearence of the blood but it fits the movie its Burton after all nothing looks normal in a Burton film
