  • What a fab rendition... lovely.

  • This is my cosin (yes this is Bailey5567 from about 1 year ago) :D u gotta love her voice!! its ever so relaxing.

  • Lovely!

  • She is great and the musicians are very good, but the original version in portuguese is more deep and not so cool/modern. Originally, Its something "before" bossa nova. This version makes "Manhã de Carnaval" sounds like jazz music. They would try to make it as the original. Americans would love it, I'm sure

  • Wonderful. But unfortunately "A Day in the Life of a Fool" is not a translation of the original lyrics, just to be clear. There are English versions of the original lyrics, that is, "Morning of Carnival"

  • MEGAN !!

    MY BEST FRIEND :D

YEAH BELIVE HER THIS IS HER COUSIN

GO EMMA CAUSE MY NAMES EMMA TOO!!q

    I LOVE YOUR SINGING

  • she is my cousin!

if you ever speak 2 her (wendykirkland) then ask her if Megan Gaetto (Me) is her coudin and she will say yes :P

  • very good!

  • the girl's voice is amazing,i love it..i play this song too on piano..good job!

  • music isn't a job...it's...

  • it sounds much better in portuguese...

  • Hi digitaljetset. Thanks for the feedback. Aside from the language, what do you think of the musicianship of Emma and the band? We think this is far more important than the tongue which is used to interpret it. All our audiences speak English - Portuguese is a beautiful language but nobody here understands it I'm afraid!

    Thanks again.

    Wendy

  • I think the music is quite good... but the language itself has its own musicality, even if you don't understand you feel the real feeling of the song, but you're doing a good job.

  • Thanks for your kind praise! We really do appreciate comments from our listeners. The players themselves are rated some of the best in the UK and I'd be surprised if you hadn't responded in the positive. Google us all for reviews and soundclips won't you.

    Cheers

    Wendy

  • Beautiful.

  • Awesome

  • Cos you can't see it on screen - the singer is the lovely Emma Nabarro, the pianist the charming Wendy Kirkland, the double bass player the wonderful Jenni Molloy, and the drummer is the brilliant Dave Walsh. One of my favourite gigs.
