  • @Quartomarinaraa23 - If you look at some videos on youtube, there are many kids his age that can bench at or beyond what Daniel can bench. The first time Daniel benched was when he was in the 5th grade. He benched 135 lbs. At that time, I knew he was gifted in strength. Daniel is in high school this year. He is on their power lifting team. We are looking forward to competing this year. He is,far and away, the strongest freshman in district at 198 lbs.

  • @drj1967

you're right it's not a world record, i apologize. I beleive the world record for a 13 year old at around 198 lbs is 310 lbs. Was that his first time at the bench press?

P.S. He could be a powerlifter as well if he worked at it, that's crazy impressive.

  • 285 bench at age 13? i'm pretty sure that'd be a world record. these are all way too unbelievable.

  • @Quartomarinaraa23 - These totals for time and lifting were all done at 5-star performance camps. Daniel is exceptionally strong for his age. These totals and lifts can be verified by his attendance at camps and his local junior high coach. Truly, these totals are far from being world records. There are kids his age that can lift equal amount of weight. Most kids do not lift weights anymore. When someone does dedicate themselves to weight training, he is often at the top of his class.

  • @Quartomarinaraa23 - To clarify, Daniel was 14 when he benched 285. In fact, this year his totals will be posted at his local high school. He is on their power lifting team. I will post videos of him lifting during competition as soon as the season starts. It will be available for everyone to see. The best way to prove his totals is to have videos. He loves lifting weights and he is looking forward to breaking records for his high school.

  • Marcel Dancy #23 from California best running back period. And looks alot smoother doing it

  • i think about 4.9 or 5.1

  • BOOKS AND TALENT THATS WHATS UP

  • i don't about ya'll, but if he runs a 4.7, then he plays against a lot of fast 8th graders... he didn't have break away speed to me. he runs hard. but listen Dr. J, he is in the 8th grade. let him be. i just got done with the recruiting stuff, and it takes a toll on kids. let him be.

  • he really benchs 305 now

  • hahah i cant wait til he can play next to me at lb. he reminds me ALOT of me. im sure you guys have heard the comparison before. i was the same 5'8 199 running back except i wore green and white on tuesdays. D and i will be seeing alot of eachother and this highlight film assures me that the opposite side of me will be taken care of. haha. now im 5'9 208 tell him to keep up;)

  • Love the first run. Highlights at LB are my favorite. Love good defense!

Check out video for Joseph Dutton (11 year old LB) He's a couple of years younger than Daniel but at 5'8, 125 lbs last season he was a very big kid and was quick on the field.

  • I'm not buyin the 4.7 40

  • @thyroste000 -Daniel was timed at two independent places. First, he was timed by oldcoach.com by Aveion Cason during this past summer camp at 4.74. Also, his head coachat school timed him for track at 4.78. The people who need to buy in already have his times in the 40, shuttle, bench press and other tests. All of these tests and times were given by those who can verify the information. Nothing more needs to be said.

  • @drj1967 the fastest 40 time is 4.24 for chris johnson if he is that fast and dont get me wrong he is amazing but literally nobody would ever touch him. Plus he is only like 14 so those coaches need to get him an actual time because the fastest kid on our team runs a 4.6 and he graduated this year. If you say this when he is in 10th grade i will believe plus the kid is huge. and what does he bench without anybody touchin the bar

  • like how much can he squat, bench etc... And whats his 40 time?

  • @DocRoyalSR - Recently, Daniel's junior high coach put him through a series of tests. At that time, Daniel did not squat. A few months ago, he did bench 285 and ran a 4.78 40 yard dash. These tests can be confirmed by Daniel's coach at James Coble Middle School. His coach's name is Byron McCullom. He is the Athletic Coordinator for the school campus.

  • @drj1967 285????? Wtf dude. hahaaa, but benching really doesnt help, it all about the leg muscles and hips. He needs to start squating because thats the most important. Power cleans are very good too

  • pound 4 pound ,the best youth football running back in the nation is "Marcel Dancy" the kid average over 40 yards a carry and is a kick return specialist.

  • dat aint nothin its a kid whose 6'2 in my grade(8th grade by the way) who weighs 220 n plays football......but he sux he doesnt even have a form tackle

  • Any chance I could sway him toward the University of Washington??? C'mon... Coach Sarkisian is a great, pro style coach who does a great job with RBs... I mean, just look what Chris Polk has done in his first two seasons... first Husky RB EVER to gain 1000 yards each of his first two seasons... Polk is headed for the NFL in a year or two... C'mon... please consider my Huskies! :)

  • @BigIrishman16 - The University of Washington is a great school. Daniel and I have watched Chris Polk and we love his running. You are right that Coach Sarkisian is a great coach and helps get his players ready for the NFL. We live in the Dallas/Ft.Worth area of Texas. As a family, we would like to make some of the home games.

  • @drj1967 As parents, we want to support Daniel as he continues to play football. UW is a great school, and if God permits, we would be honored to be given the chance to play. However, we would love for him to be close by. Can you imagine the cost of airfare for us? We would go broke. In any case, we appreciate your kind words. Daniel has a lot of work to do and is working to get better. I am glad you enjoyed the videos.

  • this kid is pretty good, but l would still truck him

  • 5'7 195? what the hell do you feed this kid?

  • @charlieroth21 - Daniel has been lifting weights for the last year. He has been able to put on alot of weight by lifting. He is far and away the strongest athlete in the city and has been dedicated to pushing iron.

  • LOL...is it possible to run over 11 kids while scoring? Yes, but only if your name is Daniel Ramos! Loved the video... One day my sons height will catch up with him and when it does whoa! In the meantime we'll be watching your son to see exactly what a big, fast back looks like! Good job Daniel... aka D-Train!

  • @FLCOBRACOACH -Thanks for the encouraging words! We appreciate them!

  • ok kids hitten now

  • good kid!

  • OK you got me on his RB "bandwagon".(What a bull!) Looks like he's getting his wheels under him as well.Still a joy to watch at LB. When to "pop" or "wrap" is a decision some PROS have a problem with. He looks to have it mastered. Never caught in wash. Violent hands with linemen(new?). Not such a "read step" fan but can see the hop is gone. Congrats to your team on a great season!!

  • @TerryF1941-You always have good observations. We are still working on perfecting his read step. We did get rid of that hop step and it helped him get downhill faster. We started on a weight training program last year. It helped him tremendously at the line of scrimmage. He made great gains in the weight room and it allowed him to be phyisical at the line of scrimmage or while plugging a hole. He still has a lot of work to do but he is committed to getting better. Thanks for stopping by!

  • I remember watching him from last years season, hes improved alot, keep up the good work, one of the greatest young running backs ive ever seen and quite a good middle linebacker, i cant wait to see you at varsity level. never give up.
