before i miss out, SQ has never proclaim that the FSS uniform been design but the locals at all. We called it our own, its because we use it, we wear it and we're proud about it and we're confident(in all service area) when we wear it.
So far i have not fly with MH yet, but with SQ and they are great (not because am Singaporean), but i do agree with other that SQ standard has drop compare to the good old days. At the same time i do receive lot of compliment about SQ from my international friends(male and female) of mine and MH i have mix feed back, most of it are not good. also about the uniform, i do agree with other about the FS, they do very much need to update.
also SQ does have their own icon such as, 'Singapore Airline you're a great way to fly' and 'Singapore girls you're great way to fly', this 2 has been recognize by world wide. But to MH, 'Malaysia hospitality', this am not very sure about it, but as far as i know, it has not been recognize for quite sometimes now which compare to SQ which is pretty fast know.
Yes MH have won best cabin crew for 6 years in a row but SQ has won so much awards and not to say best airlines of the year.
regarding about cabin crew education. this i have to totally disagree with other (Malaysian?), to become a cabin crew for SQ u must have a degree, diploma or 'O' levels, beside education level u must have the personalty and what SQ is looking for. No offense, but to my own knowledge Malaysian degree or diploma are not recognize in other country as in the levels, whereas Singapore education are recognize world wide.

hey guys.... if u guys really want to compare about the cabin crew uniform, so let make a fair compare than. SQ & MH FSS uniform are both great but however, SQ are much nicer to see as they are more color n design to it, and not because it body hugging whereas MH are simple. Both uniform are almost the same but just the design, color and cutting that all. Beside both airlines are sister/brother as SQ & MH come from the same family to start with.
There are enough pie for every airline..Airasia is a compliment and vice-versa.You can't compare LCC with a full pledge fare airline like MAS. Remember the key to win most seats is the STANDARD provided and not quantity.Irrespective of high fare one will pay to travel in comfort and a safe journey from A to B.
But there are also a lot of people queue up for purchasing AirAsia ticket. Even in municipal airport, I still can see peoples queuing for AirAsia gate. Malaysia Airlines was also a nice airline but most people will select the airline for longer flight.

Actually Malaysia and Singapore Airlines used to be under 1 airline which was called Malaysian-SIngapore Airlines but after independence, they splitted, while remaining the same uniform but only of different colours. It has nothing to do with copying
When MH split with SIA the kebaya pattern and concept went in different directions. SIA had a French Fashion Designer create their uniform while MH had a Fashion School do theirs. MH really needs to get rid of those ugly black shoes and blue cardigans. Looks cheap and tacky

malaysia airways uniform is really conservative what is really weird is that they have those plain black heels. It really screws up the uniform. Singapore is sexy but still reserve and really compliments the woman's figure really well. Uniform wise i think SQ spent more time on its Icon's Image while MH just slap something together. Pierre Balman designed the kebaya when the airline was still Malaysia Singapore Airlines (MSA), but when they split in 1972, singapore airlines got the right for the kebaya, the international route and all the planes while malaysia airlines got the domestic rights and a sum of money....i dunno why malaysian gvt was stupid enough to agree with that kind of deal...

Now, MAS is ordering 37 more planes. What a coincidence. Just after my thread of sabotage, bad culture, they take notice. It is bad culture I want to stress. Why is staff morale so low? Why is there loss of productivity? The culture produces dishonest people. Dishonest people = unfit planes. Warning! MAS Sarawak/Sabah planes have no spare parts.
Stories from MAS. Technicians, not promoted, sabotaged the planes, pouring used hydrolic oil on the RM1 Million worth instrument panels. Optic Fibre cables are cut to cripple the planes. At one time MAS had more than 37 planes that are not fit for flying. Claimed as faulty, spare parts are returned to Singapore for 'testing' only to be sent back 'passed' with S$1000 bill. Technicians return spare parts on purpose when they 'ran' out of time to replace them. Worrying Customers and Stakeholders.
Air Asia stole the spare parts to fix their fleets! they also took MAS routes in Sabah & Sarawak coz at first they thought it will brings them a lot of profit. But they were wrong and now they handed it over back to MAS and took KL-Singapore route. U can figure out all things that happen between MAS & Air Asia if U know who are standing behind all of this!!!

yes ive flown MH before from LAX to Vietnam and that was the last ive ever flown with them. I do think they are a nice airline no doubt but they're nothing like SIA.
i flew MH in the summer of 2006 because singapore airlines had no available seats and MH was the cheapest at the time. i paid for a cheap fare so i got cheap inflight amenities and service.

When MH split with SIA the kebaya pattern and concept went in different directions. SIA had a French Fashion Designer create their uniform while MH had a Fashion School do theirs. MH really needs to get rid of those ugly black shoes and blue cardigans. Looks cheap and tacky

Thing that u have to know about SIA:-
1.Their crew is trained by robot.That's why they are so robotic.
2.The uniform is not genuine.Its design from people who dont know hat is Kebaya+Batik
3.Their crew make up is so thick.
4.They claim its Singapore Kebaya but od u really see singaporean girls wearing those kebaya?
5.They copycat Malaysian Satay and claimed it Singapore Satay.

malaysia airways uniform is really conservative what is really weird is that they have those plain black heels. It really screws up the uniform. Singapore is sexy but still reserve and really compliments the woman's figure really well. Uniform wise i think SQ spent more time on its Icon's Image while MH just slap something together. Pierre Balman designed the kebaya when the airline was still Malaysia Singapore Airlines (MSA), but when they split in 1972, singapore airlines got the right for the kebaya, the international route and all the planes while malaysia airlines got the domestic rights and a sum of money....i dunno why malaysian gvt was stupid enough to agree with that kind of deal...

Stories from MAS. Technicians, not promoted, sabotaged the planes, pouring used hydrolic oil on the RM1 Million worth instrument panels. Optic Fibre cables are cut to cripple the planes. At one time MAS had more than 37 planes that are not fit for flying. Claimed as faulty, spare parts are returned to Singapore for 'testing' only to be sent back 'passed' with S$1000 bill. Technicians return spare parts on purpose when they 'ran' out of time to replace them. Worrying Customers and Stakeholders.

Air Asia stole the spare parts to fix their fleets! they also took MAS routes in Sabah & Sarawak coz at first they thought it will brings them a lot of profit. But they were wrong and now they handed it over back to MAS and took KL-Singapore route. U can figure out all things that happen between MAS & Air Asia if U know who are standing behind all of this!!!
