  • really good analogies i wish you taught my modern physics class. this helped a lot

  • Minor criticism: at 25m0s it was not clear what Prof Archer is graphing on the E vs frequency graph when he draws a bar. He should explain that it's really just a POINT that he's putting there and write that "delta-E" ("the chunk") is the vertical distance between each of those points, and that that "chunk-size" stays the same. He's incorrectly drawing ever-increasing chunk-sizes as he goes vertically.

    Perhaps that's true in a more refined theory, but it doesn't follow from what he had said.

  • Finally - an awesome lecture that's NOT from Stanford University.

    I am SICK of endlessly seeing links on deep fascinating scientific and engineering subjects to Stanford all the time.

    That in NO way implies Stanford is better than any other major university in any state or country. That only means Stanford advertises itself more and is more arrogant than these other schools.

    MIT is second after Stanford in this arrogance.
