There is no way I could only wash my hair once a week. I put pomade in my hair almost everyday and that would make my hair greasy looking if I didn't wash it for a week.

yea the first time i got my hair cut out here .. i cried .. all i asked for was a trim and to relayer my hair with side swept bangs .. and she totally F@#$ed my hair up :( .. my bangs were all retarted and she didn't layer my hair with a razor like they normally do back home .. then my mother in law found this nice salon in georgetown and they are bomb girl!!!!! you should make a trip out there and spend the day in dc .. the salon is great and the city is beautiful ..except for the traffic! LOL

The last time I got a hair cut in DC I almost had a heart attack when they told me it was $20 plus $10 per inch and my hair was long at that time. I remember back in cali I used to get $12-15 hair cuts. Now every time I visit my family in California the first thing I do is get a haircut.

The Salon is called AVEDA Georgetown. If you click on "more info" in the description box on the right side of my video, all the salon info is there. Their prices are a bit pricey if you're used to $12-15 cuts. Hair cuts start at $75. For a wash, cut, and blow dry it came up to $85.

Revlon is great, I love their stuff- I have their ironer, very good.

Be careful when using a metal brush because they dry your hair-causing more breakage, rubber is better- I was told.

However, I have metal brushes and they get the job done :)

For volume after I blow dry my hair, I use these big rollers that I got at dollar tree (They were the biggest ones that dollar tree had). I pin the rollers down with bobby pins. I set it with some Suave Hairspray. I keep the rollers on until I get to wherever I'm going. WARNING, people will stare at you while driving with big ass rollers in your hair. LOL

I love Ion I found it through my mom last yr their mouuse is the only mousse that has ever worked for me and made my fine hair thick,not even cibu"s mousse worked for me,I don"t have to use rollers on anything just the mouuuse,the only thickening products that worked are ions volumizing mousse and cibu"s thicjkening paste which is a lotion.

I used to straighten my hair when it was long .. but now that it's short when i blow dry it .. that's all i gotta do :) .. yea the products are cheap .. i think there's a lot of cheap stuff out there that are just as good as expensive brands .. thank you for your nice comment
