Watch a Pre-January 8th copy of Inception. Listen closely when the actors say imagine, reality, and safe, or point pistols. You'll hear the words, Loughner, offin' her, part of the word Giffords, and much more. Some say they hear, do it.
i was a freshmen in spanish class, my teacher turned it on for all of us to see, it was terrible, ill never forget it
my last game there was against the giants, cardinals were down 4 going into the 9th and they rallied, pujols crushed a double into right field and won the game, it was amazing :)
What's going to come go first? Fenway Park, or Wrigley Field? I hope the engineers & architects know what they're doing in saying the Wrigley is a "safe structure" for fans to sit under neath & in the upper deck,. as old as that park is, which will soon turn 100 in 2014. A few years back, they've had to install some netting to catch chunks of falling concrete, I think they're playing with fire there. I remember as a kid seeing the Arch & old Busch "being built", & now it's gone already!
What was the matter with this stadium. Are all 30-40 year old stadiums going to get demolished. How can memories live on. Maple Leaf Gardens is almost 80 years old & its gonna be renovated & used for university hockey & a store.
@isitin Nothing was wrong. The owners decided that baseball needed another bland stadium wthout character, but this has a view of the arch people say. Big deal. It has nasty red seats with red brick, nothing special. The park in KC is better. By the way, I am a Cards fan. Go to Texas or Baltimore and see a real park.
@la9099 Water damage, is that all you got. So that could not have been fixed. So they could not have done what the Yankees did in the 1970's and leave the outer shell and build a new park on the inside. But they build a bland modern day cookie cutter The only fans that are impressed with it are the ones who have not seen any other parks. I love it how the fans were crying about the seats not being red originally, eventhough Sportsmans had green. Red seats and red brick equal tacky.
man i miss that stadium. i used to go there for baseball games every summer when i was younger. my favorite memories of the park was seeing mark mcgwire hit home runs.
I remember that they had a contest, where the "winner" got to hit the stadium with a wrecking ball. --I could have never done that! Busch Stadium had too many good memories!
sad to see busch 2 go, but the stl needed a new ballpark. new busch is a great ballpark for baseball. the stl skyline in the background makes it all the better. we will miss old busch, the leaky urinals, bad sound system, the way you still felt they were playing football there. it will be missed

Why did they not implode the stadium like what they did in Cincinnati?
