That was a nice braves/falcons field i remember going in 1995 when i was 5 years old to watch a falcons game the georgia dome and turner field are nice but i really liked this one they should of never tore it down and made it into a public field where college football and baseball was played
@BrianFalconsFan29 it was an ok stadium there was something about it that made it cool but it was kinda plain and it wasnt a pitchers park and the ball traveled well in that place but for some reason in turner it doesnt travel
why would they make fun of Citi Field think about how that can be taken into a profanity. My sister actually brought that to my attention. I wouldnt have noticed it
You bitches couldn't even sell out playoff games. How sad.How many world series titles after all those years of first place finishes?ONE!!!!HOW SAD!!!!!
at least we have something to be proud of! How many teams can say they have won a world series in the past 100 years! well i guess every MLB has except chicago-LMAO The "C" in Chicago stands for Choke
ARE YOU SERIOUS!!!! LMAO- OMG i went to a lot of playoff games in the nineties, thats one thing Atlanta did do well is sell tickets! we had one of the best teams in the early 90s especially the pitching rotation... I dont know about chicago but folks in Georgia Get fired up about the Braves!
-----ChOKE the official drink of chicago professional sports----
really haha...in atlanta i highly doubt that! U are crazy....and plus why are u on a braves video running your mouth! I dont go on chicago vids and run mine about how overrated yall are! Show some respect
they may be ugly, unpractical, and uncomfortable, but they were unique for their time, i just makes fans mad because it really wasnt all that old and Atlanta had no reason to tear it down but just to fit in with the changing times! they said in 1995 at the world series because of the natural acoustics of the stadium they measured form five miles away while the fans were doing the chomping tomahawk chant and the seismograph measured the stadium at a moderate to medium size earth quake!

My cousin (who's older than me) said that in the late '70s, when the Braves were desperate for attendance, he and his buddies would go to games and sit in the upper deck in the outfield passing a brown-bagged bottle amongst themselves. When they ran out, the usher let them leave, go to the liquor store, and return. Ah, those were the days.
First Major Leauge Park I ever stepped in too, and Oh The Memories! I love Turner Field of course but I sometimes miss FCS , for braves fans, and baseball fans all over the deep south , there was such history there.

It's all good! Turner Stadium is actually better! But I saw the baseball events in that stadium in '96 and I also saw the '95 World Series.
saltlakecity2002 3 years ago
yeah the world series games there in 95 and 96 were good there even though they didnt win in 96.

It's just a shame though that the new stadium has to be named after that escaped mental patient.

And my Yankee Stadium unless it will be declared a national landmark. I hope you like Citi Field because most non-Met fans will poke fun at the name

When the Cubs last played the Braves in the Playoffs,it was the Cub fans that filled the stadium, not Atlanta fans.Get your facts straight.

@standtall67 I agree, but I am somewhat nostalgic for them now, because I grew up in the 1980's.
