I think the last arc will be the most important for relationship developements, cuz if there is ever gonna be a mutual love between characters, I bet it will happen in the very last episodes of Bleach. Kubo seems to be a really nice guy with a big heart..so maybe..he'll give us the best ending possible..and I'm sick and tired of bad endings in anime..love is an important aspect of life after all. I want a kiss in the last episode, doesn't matter if Rukia will have to use a chair to reach Ichigo.

As of right now, we have no indication of who Ichigo likes, or who Rukia likes. He thinks of Inoue as a friend the same as Chad or Ishida, but she's in love with him.

Ichigo is 17, almost 18, a legal adult in most countries. Rukia was a human as a baby and died.

@Throrine She grew up as a soul in SS and became a Shinigami. Ichigo's father is also a shinigami(as you say, dead), and Ichigo's mother was a human(alive) which would make him half Shinigami by default.

That's not really the issue here. The issue is whether or not Ichigo feels anything for Inoue, and whether or not Ichigo and Rukia's relationship has the possibility of being/becoming romantic in nature.
