Hey Jack nice job on a great old song. My name is Paddy Mullaney I grew up in Birch River my Dad was Ray Mullaney he owned the Taxi in BR. Irvin was married to my cousin Blanch. We all spent many a session listening to Blanch and Irvin singing and playing in both Birch and Mafeking. The Flin Flon Song always stood out as being the favorite of everybody. Yes, my mom was Edith, she died a couple of years ago. She first married Murray Mullaney, tho they did get divorced. She used to play with Uncle Irvin, in fact I actually have something that he and I recorded. A song that he wrote a few years before he died. Alma was one of the youngest, she was a super aunt...died young at 50.
I can send him the words of the song if you like. It won't be posted as it took awhile for me to get the words also as I had to track down his son to get the words. I never did have the words, just knew the song and of course forgot the words over the years lol. cheers
