  • That's Herb Vigran as "Hank, the All-Night Disc Jockey" on the phone- Herb contributed a lot of bit roles, sometimes unseen, on Jack's radio and TV shows at the time. So did Bea Benaderet {she usually appeared as Jack's operator, "Gertrude Gearshift", on both mediums); here, she's just an unseen, irritated "Operator". This episode, "4:00 In the Morning Show", was first staged on radio in 1953, and reworked for TV on February 6, 1955.
