  • i live in chilli

  • haha gotta love my lil town of chillicothe...i live right next to the river!! :) fishin is about the only thing to do here!

  • Thanks for watching the show. If youve got any boat access to the River let me know . I'm always looking for new places to go on the River.

  • @Fishnwithjoe you need to come down to portsmouth ohio where the scioto meets the ohio weve got boat ramps lol I live down here and its great fishing. not to mention you can stop at lake white in waverly on your way down.

  • @squall09sparks

I've been to both spots. I couldn't make it very far up the Scioto from the boat ramp though. My favorite spots when I'm in the area are Lake Vesuvius and Turkey Foot Lake at Shawnee State Park. No doubt before its all said and done I'll be back. I can't let all of those fish down there get old without having a chance to get caught at least one time. Thanks for watching the show. I'm having a Seminar at R&R Bait in Columbus at 1PM on March 5th. Maybe I'll see you there.

  • i got a question whats better abu garcia revo or abu garcia ext round reel i need to buy one and i cant pick one

  • We dig it Joe...Watch the show to get fired up before we go fishing....Keep it up

  • Thank you so much for watching.

    Joe

  • Why the long close? Pants and shirt

  • Easiest way to reduce the amount of sunscreen I have to use is by wearing long sleeve shirts and pants. Reducing the use of sunscreen helps reduce the amount of foreign scents. That equals more fish for me.

    Thanks for watching.

  • Great Video! This guy should be on ESPN.

  • Thanks chillicotheagape.

  • ur great man

  • Joe, I'm from Chillicothe and I loved tis video. I bass fish the most, but I love fishing for it all. The German fishermen taught me how to fish for carp and trout, pike, muskie and walleye. I have several tricks no one here uses to trick the fish. It makes for a more fruitful day. I hope to meet you. Go to my page or channel and e-mail me if you would like.

  • I'll be sure to check out your page. Thanks for watching Hatchetman6971

  • wats that that u put on ur bait? and does it help u catch the fish?

  • It's Powerbait bass scent and I rarely leave home without a bottle. When I use it I'm confident the fish won't smell the scent from my hands touching the bait. It cost about $5 dollars and you can get it at Wal-mart, Bass Pro, Cabelas, Sportsman's Warehouse and lots of other places. Thanks for watching Grodriquez92. I really appreciate the comments.

  • hey joe, good episode. Just wondering if this year you could do more shows in the central ohio area. places like hoover, alum, griggs, olentangy, scioto(columbus). also wondering if you have made the trip north to fish the steelhead run. i never have and would love to hear about it if you have. and where did all that snow come from? my street is still a mess! ha, thanks for the show.

  • I've got you covered Crash. The Olentangy Documentary video is of course on the Olentangy. The crappie special is from Hoover and next weeks video will be on the Scioto in Columbus. I havn't done the Steelhead run yet. I'm waiting for a good guide who wants to do a show. Thanks for watching

  • when did you film this? the snow in ohio is crazy!?

  • The snow is crazy here in Ohio right now. This morning it was 15 inches now It's 20 inches deep. Filming for this show was far in advance, August. But don't worry spring will be here soon.

    Thanks for watching.

  • Joe, you're killin' me. Its 15 degrees this morning and I see you are sweating and catching fish! Thanks for the motivational video; keep them coming!

  • Winkie, I've got 15 inches of snow outside my door right now. Two days ago I was out on my boat fishing for trout. Thats Ohio weather for you. This video was shot in August and archived for a cold snowy day just like this one. Spring will be here soon so dont give up hope. Thanks for watching.
