  • i did not even know this was possible

  • holy fuck... props to you and anyone who understands redstone... the most complicated thing i've made with it is a piston sliding door.... after watching a youtube vid how to...

  • I think you should remake this and tell us how to BUILD it. Not how it works. 'Cause I can't figure out how the crap you wired it!

  • lbp2

  • I'm just wondering how you got the note blocks to play a beat

  • That's a very nice drum set you have there... It would be a shame if something were to happen to it... sssSSSSsss

  • I have made a slightly more compact version of this on my channel and i didnt use any editors either!

  • Hm... You could make this easier with the new redstone repeaters. Just saying!

  • PLEASE PUT THE WORLD FILE UP I WANNA USE THIS SOOOOOOO BAD

  • @AddictingProduction MAKE IT YOURSELF HE EXPLAINS HOW IT WORKS RIGHT THERE DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUH

  • don't know if you've done this yet, but you can make a more compact version of this using the diodes. I managed to do it, although with the 1.5 update, all my worlds were deleted :/

  • could you make an instructional video please because im trying to make this but mine is huge compared to yours

  • This is the worlds best minecraft invention and deserves more views and likes than what it has got

  • thanks for the great idea! i made one in my server tha'ts even more compact and uses all 5 instruments.

  • Thatsss a nicccee everything you've got thaaarr.

  • was this before or after repeaters ( cause this would have been more space efficient with repeaters)

  • ok i just copied wat u did:D

  • wow im copying this then i tried repeat everything but then i tried the on and off buttons and it didnt work so i tried the other way around and now it works:)

  • What do you use to screen cap on mac?

  • @manbearpig3445 iShow U HD

  • omgggg ur awsome

  • i thought u will show us how to build that ..

  • Thanks for the guide. I've built my own one in about 6 hours but with 4 instruments rather than 3. Could'nt manage to wire in into a small board though :(

Anyway it works great and its so much fun!

  • thumbs up for mac! :P

  • This isn't a how-to for someone like me.

  • this must be alot easier to build if you use the new delay/repeater blocks, especially the clock

  • how do you wire the bottom thing? i cant connect the wire for the second one

  • can you pls upload the world?

  • I know it's going to be futile asking this... but would you happen to have any schematics or detailed instructions to create this drum machine? It sure would be cool to have on my dance floor.

  • can i make 1 4 layers high or more please tell

  • Nice work.

But how do you prevent the 8-clock-timer from stopping ?

My one will work for a few minutes and then needs a reset.

Also, can you make a short vid of how exactly you wired the 3 layers of musicboxes with the switches ?

I tried to build a drum machine myself, but mine is 28 blocks width, witch seems to be way more than yours (also i have lots of free space in it, while yours seems tightly packed.

  • Creeper: wow...that's a niSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSe Beat ^^

  • are you doing more like these? :D

    Subbed

  • oh that looks alot easier than I though lol

  • I tried making this, but got stuck on the stop button, i hooked up a button to the last inverter on the clock, but it does not stop the cycle.

  • Doing this legit gets respect from me, also, jealousy because I didn't get to be the first to pull it off.

I might try build one myself, and maybe a similar for bass (using the harp note blocks lower notes).

Seriously, this was inspiring, a project I'm so gonna try pull off.

  • what are the dimensions of this exactly? I'd like to build a room for it.

  • simply stunning

  • Nice! Hey, mind telling me what screen recording program you use?

  • you have bad timing issues, if you get the time you need to make delays, that way it will work :)

  • I am confused on the start/stop mechanism.

    Any help?

  • I think this guy deserves LOADS of thumbs up for no editors used... I mean when I copy him I am using invedit every second

  • @ennywnai Thanks dude! ya it took a lot longer than most people think to get all that redstone

  • @minecraftmusician well why do think I use invedit, I am lazy! I have subbed and look forward to more videos

  • @minecraftmusician WHat about the diamonds for the not blocks?

  • @jpog1289 u dont need diamonds for note blocks...

  • @minecraftmusician As long as you had fun finding and mining all of it. :)

  • @ennywnai I don't know why people think this is so important for minecraft megaprojects. The project is cool enough on its own.

  • @unnamednewbie13 touche but some people spend days at a time building so they might as well give a drum beat to it

  • @ennywnai I just get irritated when I put lots of effort into building something in minecraft only to have someone go "oh, you used invedit so that doesn't really count for much." The next update will have me adventuring a bit more in the game, but it'll still be back to filling my inventory with what i need for megaprojects on build servers when I've seen all the new stuff.

  • Hey I'm confused on how to make the clock used in this video. Does any know of a video or something that explains how to make it, or if anyone is wiling to show me I'm on a server that im building this on.

  • I watched your demonstrational video 5 times trying to figure it out before I found this. Thank you. i've been trying to make one of these

  • random data: a convinced jew could use this in sabath because what you do is to inhibite the signal, not creating one

anyways, using a pc is something very diferent

  • And then you hear SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS BOOM!!!! lol

  • well played sir

  • Which pitch are the notes?

  • i hope u dont mind but im going to copy this lol

  • maybe do like 1 or 2 videos playin with the dispenser too jus a basic mob trap or something nothing special

  • You sir are a genius

  • Dude you are the man,

I love minecraft and I love music and this is just awesome

I have to use my friends computer though cuz I don't have minecraft :(

But still this is epic YOU - ARE - THE - MAN! (Did I say that already?)

  • Very impressive...

I want to make a twenty five mesure piano treble and bass cleff (4/4 timing) now...

  • is this like some mod or something?

  • @HarrisonMonroe nope. No mods used

  • @minecraftmusician i dont get it how the fuck does it like work or something

  • @minecraftmusician i dont get it how the f*ck does it like work or something

  • @HarrisonMonroe are you outdatet?

  • @robot797 wut? i dont really like play this game anymore

  • @HarrisonMonroe Wth, why would you think that?

  • @rct3fan24 used to be

  • Really like the circuit design, and I'm impressed you collected that much Redstone.

  • ah fellow mac minecraft player

  • how long did it take you too figure that all out and to build it? :D

  • @Brijanoslav Well not that long cuz the blocks were only out for a very little while... I just figured out what I wanted to do and started building. Made a lot of changes as I went but it turned out way better than I ever could have imagined. Im adding more stuff to it as we speak :)

  • this video is a lot less laggy than the other one

  • make a T-flip-flop and then connect it to the off button :)

  • If only you could get a perfect loop.

    Still, very cool baby.

  • Wow i thought you just used a shit load of and gates, this is much simpler.

  • Very clever, sir. Very clever. So it looks like you'd have a hard time doing 4 sounds, like if say you wanted to add a piano hit, with your current switch board. Which is a shame. i thought it'd be awesome if you could program a tune to go down the line.

Seems to me you shouldn't need all those rows of the same sound. Cleverly wired you might be able to just have 1 each that it feeds to.

  • @cymonsgames U are prolly right... this is the first major project i have done with redstone, so i was kinda winging it, and it worked out pretty well. Thanks for the advice tho!

  • first :P great video i think it's going to be useful :)
