books like twilight and harry potter that already have huge fan bases and attempt to capitalize on that fact

also, the starship troopers movie was only really loosely based on the book and not a true "book movie" (not like lord of the rings and such)

I'd never be a Mobile Infantryman- you're not equipped very well to deal with the Arachnids and a lot of guys were inept. You're like the "white shields" of the Imperial Guard.

Book Mobile Infantry on the other hand is like being MC and Iron Man combined but jump jets rather than flight. Chain guns, flamers, bomb launchers, missiles, rockets, mortars... mmMMmmm

Well done. What's really funny is that the scene in Halo 2, where the Marines are dropping onto Delta Halo, is MUCH closer to what Heinlein actually wrote about than the Starship Troopers movie (which was crap). In fact, they prolly used the book for their inspiration in Halo 2. Read the book. It's awesome. I used to like the movie, until I read the book, and realized how much better the book was.

What i find funny about SST is that the humans have weapons that are able to fire effectivly from 100-500 meters and yet they still go within striking distance of a bug to kill it if they dug in and waited they could absolutly hammer the bugs so they lose a few from bombardment from plasmers but not as many if u assult them like they do
