Actually it may seem like luck, but there is an actual technique. Believe it or not, if you side swipe directly before you fire, the chances of getting exactly in the middle are DRASTICALLY improved. I have tried and still use this technique. If you don't believe me, get a friend and spend a day or two trying it out...you will see how easy it is afterwards.
