  • Zhong...guo...bang...di...

    What? What about a band-aid?

  • OOOOO MYYY GOOOD!!! I SAID ENGLISH!!! I DON'T KNOW WHYYYY I WROTE IT...XDDD of course english was NOT born from latin...I just wasn't thinking!!! English is not my mother tongue so i was thinking that I was writing in English and add it to the list... Sorryyy!!

  • Spanish is latin?? WTF?!?! Oh God...spanish was born from latin, like french, english, rumanian, italian, portugues and few more...

  • O she messed up Chinese soooo badly! I couldn't even understand her except for hello but everyone knows that.

  • "Euuh... je suis très excitée pour la sortie de la film, de cette film" Visiblement, Emma a un soucis avec le masculin & le féminin ^^

Elle privilégie toujours le féminin, comme quoi, elle n'est pas sexiste x)

  • LMAO! Her Korean sounded soo weird...

  • je suis excité ça se dit très bien, genre elle est contente quoi

y'as rien de sexuel pour ceux qui se posent la question lol et on peut très bien traduire par "i'm excited"

  • lol she F***ED the Korean Language UP! XD lol

  • funny video. i have a video on my channel of me speaking 4 languages, check it out if you have a chance :)

  • ELLE EST TROP FORTE

  • like if you would do her

  • She looks drunk from the first clip xD

  • i--practiced--this--in-the-mirror.

  • omg the chinese was so bad

  • Why am I watching this?

  • @MrBla342 Because Emma Watson is awesome

  • @cpssnorman Thank You. You are from Hong Kong either?

  • Can she speaks Cantonese???

  • @Cavynat she actually has when she was interviewed in hong kong. go search for the cilp

  • Being a Chinese person...the part where Emma speaks Chinese cracked me up...but don't get me wrong, because I'm not laughing at her heavy accent...in fact she was so cute when saying it. @^_^@

  • She only says like words or sentences, does that mean she speaks ths the language? That means i can speak (let me count) 11 languages! :O I think that's pretty impressing of me :O

  • lol Korean

  • latin is spanish.and what the hell everyone knows holla and amigos and like she thinks the language is a joke!

  • @vickonator1: Latin is not Spanish.... Spanish has Latin roots, which is a very different thing.

  • @vickonator1 it's "hola" .. you said "holla!!" LOL

  • Wow her Korean

  • 안녕하십니까! That was very interesting. Her Korean sounded quite funny. Hehe.

  • XD She's still cute.

  • Wow, her Korean is really choppy, it's pretty good though!

    ~An actual Korean

  • Comment removed

  • Okay. Those were phrases not an actual conversation or response.

  • Her French was so bad! She didn't know what she was saying.

  • OMG

    she is perfect !!

  • Chinese fail.

  • the japanese and korean failed >_>

  • shes can't speak korean for SHIT! didnt anyone tell her how to properly say Hello in korean before she embarasses herself?

  • why is there no australian translation?

  • I'm French and "excitée" doesn't necessarily mean sexually aroused.

  • She looks like Effy.

  • @Pedr0KAm effi trinket??

  • oh my god, an-yeong-ha-se-yoh, AHAHA XD

  • if there were no subtitles, I would probably not have understood her Chinese. She's pretty good at French though. her grand mother's french right?

  • I speak some Chinese, and she was a little rough, but that's okay! I'm not too great at Chinese myself XD

  • is any one else watching this near christmas time?

  • She's so cute!

  • From what little Japanese I've studied so far, it sounds to me that her Japanese pronunciation isn't that great. However, it doesn't really matter that much. What she is saying is still perfectly clear. ^^

  • I also speake japanese ad It was quite funny to hear her :DD

  • pause at 0:05

  • What really gets to me is that she is French but isn't actually fluent in it.

Don't believe me, check it out for yourself. She was born in Paris, France.

  • @Harmthuria She's not French, like u said, she was born in Paris, but both her parents are English ;) so that doesn't mean she has to be fluent in French just cause she was born there :P

  • i wish she did italian

  • i have to say, I don't know many other actors who'd even try to speak another language. at least she gave it a go :)

  • I like how she said the korean language with her english accent :))

  • Lol, loved how she pronounced in korean. Ann-oohh-a-sayoo. Kinda wrong but still :)

I'm glad that she is trying. I think her mandarin/chinese is wrongly pronounced too. but mandarin is complicated, I'm learning it too. xD.

  • Okay, so you people are slagging someone you've never met before because she is trying to learn new languages or atleast give them ago, why don't you get off your lazy asses and learn some Korean words or Spanish, because honestly she will be better than you.

  • She's fluent in french, she lived in France until she was five.

  • does she speak fluent french?

  • @GiGiLOVEeunice Lol no she doesn't :P She actually ONLY speaks English, and she knows some basic stuff in foreign languages.

  • Ha. For her French bit, she said, "Je suis excité." Which means, "I'm turned on". Common mistake. It means excited, but a different kind of excited.

  • @MademoiselleDooley

How would one say, "I am excited" without being sexual? Would anyone be offended if you used "je suis excité"?

  • @Huddy22009

Well, an appropriate response would be, "Je suis enthousiaste.", which, in an essence, means the same thing as "I am excited". However, if you were to use "Je suis excité" in France, one would assume you are turned on.

  • @MademoiselleDooley yea that was the first thing I learned in my french classes, hahaha

  • @MademoiselleDooley then how do you say normal exited?!

  • @animelionking People used to say "excité" for excited, but now that word is only know as "turned on." She could have said "heureuse" or "contente" (happy), or something else like that.

  • @andysworld91 Actually I'm french and we use "exité" for both meanings. So it is possible and correct to say "Je suis exitée" that way, although you might get a few perverted jokes LOL

  • @MademoiselleDooley - Oy, Dudette! It doesn't mean I'm turned on. Where are you from?? It just means "I'm excited"... Toi t'es clairement pas francophone. Tout l'monde dit "je suis excité", en France, au Canada, en Belgique...

  • @MademoiselleDooley

the things they never teach in french class...goddammit

  • amazing gal.

  • he's standing too close

  • it's creepy how before I even watched this vid I managed to watch all the vids in this vid seperately :L

  • Chinese: Wau-Chao-Hao-lalalaEmmaWatsonblalblalbaHarryPotteralalala :D I'm sure everyone understood that :D

  • whats with the obsessive 'lets get celebrities to speak another language!' it's not exactly a clever concept, is it. so who gives a shit if she sounded good or not.

  • everyone is capable of learning two words by heart, and that thing in french is definitely horrible. cool down people

  • @Thompame I guess that's a France thing? because I always knew excitée as excited :)

  • Hhahaha...in french she use the word for "Sexually excited" Rather then "Excited for something"

  • What she meant to say in French: "I'm really excited for the release of this film."

What she actually said: "I'm really aroused by the release of this film."

  • She was born in France, so its probably normal that shed know french very well. it doesnt really matter about the other languages, its not like she was trying to learn them, they just made her say something in that particular language.

  • Wow Emma Watson is damn smart

  • Jeez people stop being hard on her. It's as hard for people who can't speak your languages as people who can't speak english, too. So hush!!

  • I do believe that she knows French but everything else was pretty lousy!

  • For native English speakers Korean is supposed to be the hardest language to learn

  • IF I HAD A DOLLAR FOR EVERY PIXEL ID HAVE ONE DOLLAR!

  • Good lord, people. Stop being so hard on her.

  • I thought they said "happy Christmas"!!!

  • korean...fail. hahahaha

  • oh dear... that chinese wasnt evn understandable. BUT THATS OK i cant speak french so its all good. and im not as gorgeous xD

    haha i love emma :D

  • She said Namaste India?

  • Lol. "Excite?" You're sexually arrroused?

I love you Emma, but xD

  • @TheRacingWind "excitée" doesn't necessarily mean sexually arroused.

  • holy geez people. She probably got given the lines right before each of the interviews and 30 seconds of training in how to say it. If you'd never spoken a language before, had no training in the correct inflections and then got given a word or line to pronounce in that language, you'd probably screw it up too.

  • @LilaBear depends on the word (for pronouncing) and as i know she was born in paris...Of course it doesn't mean she can speak french but still ^_^

  • @alexandrabutiri2000 She left France when she was 5, and she has said in interviews that she has lost most of her french now. My husband began learning english at age 9 (older than when Emma began) and his pronunciation in his mothertongue isn't great anymore either - and he has continued speaking it (his parents still speak it at home) whereas it seems Emma stopped speaking French. So I don't really think it's that surprising if her French pronunciation is crap now :P

  • @LilaBear yeah i know i get your point but i dunno i was born in Mouscron, Belgium and left when i was too (my parents decision-i for one wouldn't've left :D) and yet i have a thing for languages especially english and french. I pronounce words very well and so but told u it depends from person to person ^_^

  • She really can't...

She speaks two languages. The rest aren't good at all. xD

  • The mandarin was horrible too :)

  • PAHAHA! Saying excité in French means sexually excited...

  • Low level on languages, dissapointed

  • haha :)) the chinese is super epic but I still love her :D

  • Who the fuck can't say HOLA?!?

  • This is the first time I've heard an english speaking person speak french, and did not crinch! English should never talk French, and French never should talk English.

  • This remind me to log in to pottermore! :D

  • She should try Swedish :3

  • Love her!

  • She was born in Paris and moved to England when she was 5 with her mum and brother :-D fact

  • k COOL

  • Ann ee yo has e yo

    lol

  • when she speaks chinese thats too cute

  • people shouldnt just judge her like that ..her job is hard her travels all over the world do you expect her to know languages perfectly no shes not a princess who gets private tutors for hours shes an actress she only needs to master her roles (which she does PERFECTLY, btw) .

  • She sounds amazing, speaking in french. :D

  • Hahaha she says her Korean Like Aniyo-haseyo XD

    Buts is Annyeong-haseyo lol

  • @MsYukiFujisaki this is probably funnier if you speak Korean...

  • For your safety dont record with a burnt hotdog

  • poor, when she has spoken in Chinese, she was 13 yeas old!!!!!!!!!!!! xD

  • What a P!mp

  • This isn't amazing at all lol. I actually speak Japanese and Spanish, and I know what Hindi, Korean and Chinese sound like. It's easy to know one phrase in multiple languages, try it out! Not trying to be cocky or anything, but it seems like she is doing something amazing. Her pronunciation is funny :D

  • @Meltedsnake4 Yeah, if she knows all these languages, then I do too. She's bad at all the languages except for French lol. And she especially shouldn't try to speak Chinese again. Emma, you have too much of a British accent, it's a curse :O

  • @funnymonkie411 It is a curse hahaha, my music teacher is british and he speaks italian with a really heavy british accent, it's hilarious!

  • @Meltedsnake4 It might be easy if you've practiced. She was probably given the line right before each interview and 30 seconds training in how to say it.

  • Her accent ruins any attempt of her speaking any other language besides from english lol.

  • LOL CHINESE...

  • She's actually French.

  • @2020starlove she's not French. Just because she was born in France doesn't make her French.

  • @LilaBear If a person is born in a country, they are that nationality...thats like telling me that even though i was born in Russia, im not russian.....which btw, is not true. I was born in russia, therefore I am Russian.

  • @smallblondechild99 No. Let me quote Wikipedia on this one:

"Nationality is membership of a nation or sovereign state, usually determined by their citizenship, but sometimes by ethnicity or place of residence, or based on their sense of national identity. National identity is not inborn trait."

You are Russian because you feel you're Russian. If a pregnant woman gave birth to her child during a holiday in a country that isn't hers, her child wouldn't gain that Nationality.

  • @Charuchii Actually Nicole Kidman holds two citizenships: The U.S. and Australia.

  • @riniel17 Yes, there are people who have two citizenships. I never said there aren't. Also, I don't get how Nicole Kidman suddenly got involved with this.

  • @smallblondechild99 No Russian blood = Not a Russian.

I'm 1/2 Ukrainian but raised in Belgium, if I were to go to Ukraine I would be seen as an foreigner, not an Ukrainian. Even tho I have Ukrainian blood and look very Ukrainian.

  • i laughed at spanish. HOLA AMIGOS XDDDDDDD

  • she speaks all languages with a British accent!

  • i CAN SPEAK 12 LANGUAGES!! Pope taught me

  • This is gay

  • I'm Korean and when I heard her saying hello in Korean I laughed! Even though she pronounced it wrong, she was too cute!! Love you Emma! Will always be your fan!

  • She did the japaneese part very well.

  • Lol she needs to work on her Asian languages

  • LOL KOREAN WAS AFWUL HA

  • I would love to see her trying to speak Dutch :D

  • this compilation makes her sound like an idiot.

  • she should have tried german. it's easy :)

  • @nis0cheese

Well, a few words aren't that difficult...I mean she doesn't speak all these languages fluidly...but to speak a very good German you really need years!

  • @Ritterjaegerjaeger ich weiß, auch ich bin deutsch!

  • 안녕하새요? Jesus god that was awful.

  • That Korean was terrible. I love you but damn girl LOL 안녕하세요 isn't hard at all

  • @SerasxAlucard Well if you compare Those letters with Europe's Alphabet it will be hard for you too? it's like i should say Finnish is easy just say "hey Tykkään rintani" you get the feeling now don't ya?

  • @escNOOOB I love Finnish, it's a beautiful languages... I don't think it's that hard either.

  • @SerasxAlucard No but for her it was Hard and i think you must take back you're question and think one step further...

  • Does anybody know other than myself, that Emma is French? well half.

  • Umm...she just knows greetings. Anybody can learn those. That's not impressive. I know how to say 'Hi, how are you?' in 20 languages! See, anybody!

  • "Second to last! Fleur never got passed Ze Greendyloos!"

    haha her french is adorable(:...

  • Wow if that is speaking a language then i can speak every language duh

  • :/... I speak spanish and english ...and a lil french... is better to know very well how can you speak in a different language than just knowing few phrases :/

  • I'm kinda relieved that it's almost always just a little bit of polite things to learn before you travel to a country, otherwise this would've been a massive jealousy shock for me. ;) But seriously, it's really nice of her that she shows interest in others by doing this. :)

  • you can't say she speaks laguages cause she only knows a few words. But is it amazing that she tries! awesome!

  • I love you Emma <3 but please...just don't speak Korean or Chinese. xD

  • @Mashimaro4meh nah she shouldn't speak any asian language anymore.......sounds like she's making fun of asians

  • Her Chinese x) At least she tried. :) ❤

  • Incredible is right. This girl...I mean wow. She's beautiful, smart as.....well, extremely smart, speaks various languages. I wouldn't be surprised if she shows us her super saiyan transformation next....>.>

  • she lived in France for a while when she was younger that's why she knows French
