These are very naturally occurring patterns. They are everywhere. Look at the beautiful designs one can make with electromagnetic fields. Most crop circles are perfect intersections of electromagnetic fields... interference patterns. There are some dreamcatchers in there, too.

(Not saying aliens made the crop circles. Anyone with specialized electromagnetic equipment could do the same... or MAYBE, dudes with boards and rope)
