I read the purpose driven life 7 years ago when I was thinking of finding what the Lord's purpose for my life... after several days of reading my spirit became more confused and down than before.. I stopped reading the book... I realized now that we should stick at the Word of the Lord and ask Him to teach us and speak to us through the Bible... The Lord has given us a spirit of discernment and I believe if we truly are seeking the Lord and trusting Him, He won't let us be deceived...

It is a purpose driven plan to get you to sign a covenant (which is against Ya's commands) with man to get him to agree to never look outside of the Purpose Driven agenda and find what Yah has to say to the individual. The Lord showed me Rick was to be avoided before I knew anything about him. I was coming back to the Lord and i almost purchase PDL but as I reached for the book I heard a literal voice in my ear say, "Don't pick it up, don't even touch it". I immediately left the store..it was only later through research and scripture that I learned just how close I came to being deceived. My shepherd led me to His truth found in His gospel instead. Don't judge him (Rick Warren). Is he a true follower of Christ or not... Only God knows. Will he be punished or not,let God carry that problem. We are not in the place to judge any people. So before you judge other people, check on yourself. Have you obeyed all of God's commands?

This will upset you but it is the best thing I can think of to say to you.

If you think you are going to avoid the wrath of God because you read The Purpose Driven Life and prayed a little prayer like the book instructs you are probably not born again. You must be born again to avoid judgment and this occurs in conjunction to the preaching of repentance and the actual gospel. No other way.

Notwithstanding any given Sunday, 30 million copies of a false gospel have been preached.

Rick Warren and the false gospel he preaches must and will be condemned from the scriptures (Galations, 2nd Peter, and Jude) by all authentic Christian leadership. Other leaders that have embraced him publically and seek to legitimize him as a well meaning Christian brother harm the elect. Warren has without repentance preached 30 million copies of a false gospel to the dead. Nothing in the scriptures provokes greater promise of impending doom&wrath from the Holy Spirit than false prophets.
