  • I disagree with most of what she's saying :/ Iv had one for about a year and a half and love it it's small, fast and perfect for school or college oh and did I mention I run a internet radio show through it and fully edit it with the netbook lol

  • I have an NB100. By some margin the worst computer I hve ever used. Absolute piece of crap. Slow, often to unusable and a keyboard that only registers half your keystrokes so that you have to continually proofread. Save your money for something decent.

  • im gonna buy that shit in the next month :) i broke my lcd display and my 700£ laptop is now just trash

  • wtf,u are retard!!!

  • What the hell is wrong with the way this netbook looks? It's beautiful compared to the crap that's out there now -- so many things nowadays have wayyy too many curved surfaces and too much cheap ass looking shiny plastic [cars, computers, etc]. Laptops are all beginning to look like mini coffins [Yuck!]. At least the NB100, with its appropriate mix of angles and curves looks like something a professional would carry.

  • The NEW Toshiba netbook is much better--the best netbook design out there, IMO. The NB205. Check it out. Beautiful, great features, the longest battery life, ideal keyboard for its size, nice BIG trackpad. Check out the reviews.

  • bitch, im on this netbook now and it is perfect, after practise you can type on the keyboard perfectly so shut up. you are really more ugly than the laptop with your massive nose, your head looks like my shit!

  • leave the gurl alone dude. she's just doing her job hahahaha.

im also very happy with my NB100 and so is everyone else with theirs....say what they like against it....come on, what do they expect? diamonds with that low profile price? NB100 does its job so well why should we even complain? leave the fancy looking netbooks to the show offs

  • pls, i want to buy it, can u advice me? is it good for hard work and fast? im afraid it will be slow processes.

and can i connect internet through LAN Ethernet?

  • got this netbook some days ago... apart the small keyboard (but with practice you can use it quite well) it's very good, it has got 3 usb, bluetooth (not all netbooks have it) and probably the smallest in the category.

  • She is a retard. What a effing joke.

  • I'm with CozMix, netbooks should not be approaching notebooks, Toshiba (ToshSHEEEEEEEBA you ignorant woman)..It's beautiful looking machine and I reckon Toshiba have got this right, I'm trading my MSi Wind today and installing OsX. Wha are people talking about, it looks pretty damned aesthetically on the mojo to me.

  • Holy crap, learn to pronounce Toshiba!

  • So is the keyboard that hard to type with as she just made out?

I'm planning on buying a netbook in the next few weeks but I think I'll only spend about £230 on one though...

  • I´ve seen in some sites on the web (here also), that you can install Vista on this laptop, also that you could run it with Windows 7; is this true?

  • I loveeeeeeeee my toshiba NB100

  • shut da fuck up, and go get a nose job, NOW!

  • and she's talking about looking pedestrian? confidence is so cute, especially when its miss-placed

  • Its ugly..thats right :D

  • Somebody Tell this woman this is a "NETBOOK" sure a larger screen and bigger keyboard would be nice... BUT that would defeet the purpose of a netbook which is to be small. Personaly I think 10 inch devices should be clasified as Notebooks so and not be compared to Netbooks, next thing we know she will be comparing an iphone to a Desktop PC. As for the way it looks?... I like it!

  • Wow shes hard to please, need a big keyboard to do that job me thinks

  • Dont Listen to this stupid women

i am on this laptop now and i wouldnt change it for any other laptop its so cool and the webcam is really clear and good

windows live messenger runs perfectly and it has a good memory and the keyboard is easy to type on so i recomend this laptop alot :) just egnore this pathetic old bag !

  • @AshBerry20o9 Unfortunately if you had a basic understanding of PC's and Laptops you would know how almost useless this netbook is. I was told by my year head to buy it for class. 1gb of RAM memory. Allows for word processing and standard web surfing. Anything more will cause errors and huge lag on the pc itself. The design is mediocre. Unlike any other netbook the battery itself is jutting out the back, causing it to be prone to damage. The processor is good though. Overall its a bad netbook.

  • Thanks. The HDD size is attractive 9though an overkill for the purpose of a netbook). But I politely disagree about the looks. I think Toshiba and Dell have the best looking netbooks.

    Cheers.

  • your more ugy than the netbook, i got this yesteray and im on it now trust me its is brilliant for the price!!

  • shes a friggin idiot.. her review seems like shes comparing this netbook to a laptop. Get a real job ! 3 USB ports is great on a netbook.. i upgraded my NB100 to 2gb ram.. external mouse and wella! its great. saves lugging around a heavy laptop when u go school..

  • No Linux version, fail.

  • If you actually bothered to look, there IS a linux one, with Ubuntu Remix...

  • i heard there is a newer one of this toshiba, that holds 160 gb now, i dunno the battery pack looks ugly sticking out though XP

  • Yeah i have the 160GB one :) I think it looks really nice too, i personally think that the acer aspire one looks bad, but thats just my personal opinion, toshiba and dell's netbooks do look the best :)

  • Oh please...

keep you're whiny opinion to you're self, this netbook looks very cool & professional way better than the acer aspire one or te samsung nc10

  • The NB100 I'm happily typing with right now has even 145GB in total, and has many sets of resolution for watching videos comfortably on the go.

Video camera works great when I chat, and I appreciate its long battery life (2.5 hr+).

Add some laptop stickers and matching bags, and the exterior won't be much an issue. How it can work is more important! VGA outlet and fan on/off are also things I like about.

I am going to upgrade it to Windows7 (using it on my laptop now) to make it even cooler.

  • this fucking bitch is laying .she didnt know about laptops and networking.bitch hard drive is 80 gb not 120 gb.ok and it looks perfect.

it got ubtune which is for professional not for a bitch like u

  • Some women will always want another inch ay @ below. Wel i agree it could b betr built but what u expect 4 the price. It doesnt look and feel THAT bad really in the shop. I mean its not 4 writing novels is it.

  • That [beach] is $tupid!

OK, I don't really like this netbook either, but still - they decided to go with a SMALL device!

Say what ever you want to say, but that was actually one of the basic ideas behind netbooks.

I'd rather have 8.9" netbook, then 12" or whatever they're doing now :S

    12" it's not a netbook! It's just a very-slow-and-useless-notebook!

  • "ugly?"........ harsh harsh harsh!

I think it looks well nicer than the EEEPC 900, which was my previous netbook until its SSD failed!, I got refunded and bought the NB100.

one gripe about it though is that the keyboard letters are grey, hence making them hard to see in low light, the last thing you would want because of how small they are.

very nice PC though, hope it lasts longer than the EEEPC 900 (which was about 3 weeks)

  • Have my nb100 for three weeks, no problems. Paid 299.00 Canadian. Only complaint I have is that the "operating system backup" is on the hidden partion and that Toshiba has a disc backup program to save it. also it has a DVD player program installed. Only problem is nobody told the installers of the system that there is NO CD/DVD hardware installed.????? Toshiba must want everyone to run out and buy a usb drive to backup the system in case of a crash, they will not provide a backup dvd.

  • Correction to the price, it was 399.00 Canadian this is about 299.00 USD

  • Comment removed

  • i agree with what she says! but get the version with ubuntu pre installed and you have the most fun netbook in the world, then cover it in a leather case from pdair and it becomes super attractive.

  • winny bitch isnt she haha yeah kinda ironic that she was wearing the "very unfashionable" colours

  • hahaha "Tosherber"

  • and another thing... basic spec???

    thats the frickin standard missus!

  • why she speak so fast...

  • the funny thing is shes wearing the same colours as the note book :D

  • ugly...? it looked better than the acer and eeepc when i saw it today. heck it even looks better than you!

  • PW malaka eleos ti einai toyto??

    XWRIS DONTIA!!!OMG hahahahaaa

Eksw apo ta dontia 8a sto pw....lol

  • Hey I know this has nothing to do with the product reviewed here, but I had a question that I am dying to get an answer for. If you bought a macbook or macbook pro, can you run windows vista games/programs on it using boot camp or parallels? Please Reply

  • You can use boot camp to install windows and run games and programs, or you could use parallels to run a virtual windows machine etc.....

  • Thnx man

  • yeh i know but last time i checked i was english, and so was the girl presenting this video, whatever her name is.

  • I have it for 2 weeks now. Gets pretty hot. But it does what it was designed for. As for the looks, I don't find it ugly, also I don't get complaints about the keyboard size. If you can menage Blackberry, you can sure type on this netbook. Very good for trips - just 1 kilo! I like the set up of the ports.

  • just basic operationslike web, email word programs nothing to intense

  • You're ugly!!

  • hahaha

  • i'm still gonna get the hp mininote

    better value always

  • Yeah but there's no difference in pronunciation there so no big deal. I've never been sure which is right and use both...:S

  • How much this netbook ?

  • I've always found that silly. Is aluminium to complicated to spell and pronounce? (Firefox has just told me I spelled aluminium incorrectly and it should be aluminum. Silly American spell checker)

  • Toshiba --> tô shiba (Japanese pron.)

  • wahh, negative review o_0

  • ITS PRONOUNCED TOSH-EEEE-BAA, duh?

  • More like To-sheeba! LOL!

  • nice netbook
