lols av had my rc nitro engine for 7 years and still go out on it like 3 times a week and run it on the highest grade nitro fuel and av never ever used after run on my engine and it still runs amazinf and starts first pull ha lols
@weimorts12345 Yep well that's fine ;) If you use it often, then you dont have to use after run oil, I only use it when I'm storing an engine for a while
@weimorts12345 probably cause you run it 3 times a week it doesn't have time to rust up. I put after run oil in mine even if I will not be running it for a day or so. I would rather be safe than sorry and after run oil is cheap and won't hurt anything.
@jthornley12 yeh and i also heard tht wd40 is mineral oil based and the oil in the nitro fuel is sinfetic (however you spell it) but if u mix these it turns into a goo and can clog yr engine up
They're are actually NITRO powered machines, this engines CAN NOT tolerate gasoline. There are some huge baja models that use 2 cycle gasoline engines (monsterous 26 cc engines) but they are really expensive. To buy nitromethane powered cars and fuel look for a local hobby shop or the web, they are actually easier to find than what you may think

@grabmygoobers Good points :) after run oil is much cheaper than new engine parts or new engines

is it true tht you can just use wd40 for after run oil??
nitrodougietek 1 year ago
@nitrodougietek Yup it is true, but I seriously don't recommend it. The car will simply stink when you start it up if you use WD40
