@Thearl, if you watched the show, you'd know that Cotterpin has no interest in construction and considers herself more of an artist. She felt she was being pushed into Doozerdom and its 'working class dictatorship' and once she received her helmet. threw it back and left, hoping to become a fraggle. When that didn't work(she stayed friends with Red), she returned to the fold, presented her artwork and became an apprentice to the architect(the old turkey in the white robe).

@DrJekyll38 I thought she was friends with Wembly... i dont remember exactly which episode it was, it may have been this one, she is hanging out with Wembly the most and wearing a doozer sized version of his 'Banana' shirt.

@xXVanillaBlueXx That came later, the first time we ever meet Cotterpin, she wants no part of construction and tried to become a Fraggle, where her artwork would be valued. Her first contact with the Fraggles was through Red, and she subsequently became pals with Wembley and Boober.
