Hmm I'm not a pro painter but I thought you were supposed to load the roller then paint a V shape then fill it into a square for even paint coverage. Well that is what miller paint says for 1 coat painting anyway
watching this cos I have screwed up painting a wall, did it 12 times..still crappy.the method here wont work for me , the wall has a thermostat.cold air return plus sockets and light switches. dont laugh at me I am old and trying my best.lol
10 years of effort, we successfully developed the most advanced "Wall Shuttle"in the world and got patented . With one person operation and automatic movements , which could be widely used for paint brush , wall polishing and cleaning (including glass curtain walls, glass, etc.), wallpaper removal, wallpaper stick , wallpaper paste and so on.
For paint and wallpaperin. New Diy invention Wallshuttle
if you use tape son lol you need to find a new trade im a master painter not a master taper but if you like painting like a home owner im shure u will do well lol i can get so much more quality then you with just a brush and my hand when your done tapeing that room im done painting it and no scabs or chips or strech marks lol wait lol painters will laugh at you finda trade thisaint it for you
My best suggestion is - drink at least 8 beers, before you even drive to the store to buy the paint. If you make it there in one piece, you need to buy high-gloss paint, for the edge of the brain.
Most painters I know use a tray, myself included. Using a bucket/scuttle is fine for masonary work, but you tend to overload the roller when doing interior stuff. It's a matter of preference. I tend to cut in the entire room on the first coat, then roll. Then 1 wall at a time for the second.then backroll top to bottom. No lines, no dry edges. Easy
Ok, the inexperiance really shows in this video. I do one wall at a time to prevent the cut from drying and picture framing. I cut it first then roll. I will put a video on here soon to show you how its really done. It takes me 45 min. to an hour to paint a bedroom 2 coats. Did I see tape on the baseboard, WOW. Newby
are you serious!? you use a brush for the unpainted parts jackass. If you try to paint all the way done, the roller will paint the celling/ floor also.

Someone who really paints...again...what real painter uses a tray! A bucket is so much easier! (Unless you are doing a small area)

I don't understand, so you just leave an area below the celling where you dont paint? and the floor
