this is a very good technique.

most want to be fighters are far too lazy to pay there dues and practice and perfect this classic muay thai defence..

all the bangkok champions use this routinely in there fights.

knowing whether to step back or inplace and the pay back-retaliation is the beauty of the sport .

notice the kick the assistant is doing ,, he plants after kicking rather than showy dangerous going all the way around ...kick plant is superior ..

its all in the small details

tell me im confused :S ive been doing Muay Thai for nearly 5 months now ive had private lessons too. I ask my Kru and she says to me that the thais can do this because there very experinced fighters she said if i was to try this id get knocked out ? it seems to me this is a good move thanks

@jamescourt1000 it's a flashy move, it's not recommended, specially for people who are starting off, you're best off to put your hand up beside your head and move back.
