my friend had told me that he had everything installed correctly, including the hypersim, etc...but the thing is he could just not make outgoing calls, he recieved calls just fine except that when he punched in a number and dialed it, it said ``call limit exceeded`` and he could call just fine in his normal phone... do u know what the problem could be?

It will work on T-Mobile.

Our customer mostly are with AT&T, T-mobile, and Cingular. Those network providers are using simcards.

Yup you need to get it unlocked though. When you go to HK, ask the store if it's fully unlocked. If it isn't, ask them to unlock it for you, it won't cost too much more: max $100 CDN.

I might plan to get this phone too. It's either this, or SO905iCS for me.
