  • You people are crazy, the US army were NOT the first ones to develop this technology. Clearly Harry Potter had it even before the Japanese did.

  • guys the u.s. military has had this technology for years do some research

  • if there is a camera behind the coat, then why doesnt the video move when he moves?

  • imagine this in the malitary sniper forces. would be said bet cha 90% of all kills are sniper in real life if this was in the mailtary

  • hopefully they have progressed further with it if it is real, because if this is the best of its ability it's not going to fool anyone

  • All I know is that the U.S. army had a documentary a few years back about a fiber optic suit they were working on that made you nearly invisible. Funny that they had it on basic cable a few years back and now I can barely find any info on it. Can you say cover ups...

  • I'm guessing it's not cameras....It's called fiber optics people. same tech as those little light up toys you get from the circus..

  • In Popular Science's September 2008 magazie, there is a picture with the same guy on the magazine as in the video. This is what the artical said:

"How black can a man-made material be? None more black than this: scientists from Duke University and Boston University created a substance that absorbs all microwave light that touches it. The invention is a major step toward developing a so-called meta-material with a negative index of refraction--that is, one that's essentially invisible..."

  • Yes. Very interesting stuff. I would be willing to bet that DARPA is having fun with this one as well.

  • @mcdonn123 why is it that everytime someone in the world invents sometthing a university in the US claims they invented it. why dont they just say they bought the patent and are developing further investigation? did you know a portuguese invented the microphone and still an american claimed the invention?

  • he`s standing in front of a projector duh.........

  • no...

he is wearing a special made coat

it has small hidden cameras on all sides

then the cameras show what they see to the opposite side

  • This IS real and it's NT.

Nothing to do with a green screen.

The image is captured behind the person and it's projected from the coat.

    It's an optical ilusion.

  • 2 things.... camera and a beamer

    saw it on NGC

  • no its not dick so su the fuck up and gt your facts rite

  • it cant be real, how can you see through his body, explain that then ill believe you

  • "A video camera behind the coat is linked to a projector, which bounces the image off the front of the coat's reflective surface. Because there is no time lag between what's happening behind the wearer and the image cast on the front of the coat, the viewer has the illusion he is seeing straight through the coat."

  • exactly its not real its smoke and mirrors

  • he never said it was smoke or mirrors

    hey this isnt harry potter!

the moment u put a cloack u disapear!

    this is real life

    get over it

a coat being made out of lots of cameras is fake?

    what is real then?

    an ivisiblity potion? -__-

  • @chechegettheyayo I think that too but why doesnt we see it in his face too if its a projection.

  • @dlptxxx because the coat doesn't cover his face

    wtf

  • Nope

  • yup

  • this is real as hell

  • watch it again notice the man on the bike who inst paying attention hes either blind but knows how ride a bike on a main road or hes not even there weird or what

  • hang on if it was real dont you think one of the people in one of the moters would stop get out and ask the man how the fuck do you do that. i mean its not everyday you get to see an i invisibal man

  • there could be a projector which means its fake or it could be real info on the real thing on bbc news just type in invisibility cloak into bbc news website

  • where do you find this stuff or where can you buy it?

  • its real but its not very interesting now that we british have done it to a tank

  • Hi Dear How are you and where are you from if its true where i can buy this type of thing waiting for replay regard zee

  • not a fake it's a reflecting coat with a projector!

    not new!

  • yea sure. it's a fake.

  • this shit is real

  • @sparky10234 ur retarted try this shit is a man standing in front of a projector in simple terms if it was real why the fuck would this guy be standing in the middle of the street?

  • @RockandRoll21395 comment was 2 yrs ago when iwas 16 now im 18 so i know now duh

  • @sparky10234 hahaha well its rare that retardation disappears with age considering i knew this when i was 12 and im only 15 now

  • @RockandRoll21395 Maybe, but if it's a projector, why isn't the image being projected on his face?

  • It's Real, and simple, You just add alot of small cameras at his back, and then you have some kind of viewer on The front..

  • i posted on the other clip of this.. its a real coat it just has loads of stuff plugged into it you cant see. they have done it with other objects (check youtube am sure they are about) any way was a few years back so hopefully its moved on a bit :)

  • wow, whoever says these videos are fake have no clue. they are just ignorant pricks. this is real technology. look it up, it was created at the university of tokyo, very real, it has been performed infront of audiences.

  • Hi! I think too it is fake man. Why so short this video? Why only 1 person, and 1 place shows that great contrivance?

  • google "soldier tech active camouflage" and click on the defensetech(dot)com link

  • hmm.give me the link man, i have not found anything following your instructions.

  • it wont let me post links on here. I'll try sending it to you in a message.

  • I have a idea to make unvisible cloath..it is only in my mind..i searching any similar resolving.

  • Hey adesorgo1, i'm not being rude or ignorant, but this is actually a technique called "chroma keying" or more commonly "blue/green screen" a video can be edited to remove certain colours.

  • imo fake

  • google "soldier tech active camouflage" and click on the defensetech(dot)com link
