Well my book tells me the earth was 4.6 billion years old and that the first human was a complex procedure of evolution. The way i measure which book is true, is facts. Islam says if you mix saltwater with fresh water, they cannot mix. Now in my book, it tells me otherwise, and it's correct. So for islam to take credit for greek philosophy before islam even started is just disrespectful to the greeks.

@8soccer4life8 Although i also do not agree with the way richard dawkins approaches the whole religion thing, he isnt trying to give the meaning of life here bro, he is disproving the current religions. And has been doing a very good job of it. All religions have their faults. The first human also was female (you could say eve), ofwhich man evolved from (hence why men have nipples even though we dont give birth to breast feed).

If you believe in that, then we have no conflict in view-point. God was around forever, and so why discard old texts and holy books when they are sources of great knowledge.

God and Religion are two different things. Our existence is the event that had taken place from God, so the more we discover (evolution, dimensions, quantum physics etc) the more we learn about our creator. Science is the guideline and laws of man. You need to change your way of thinking (because you're a muslim it might be hard)

And that white people come from colder climates? It's evolution, and that's how we adapt. Our cells evolve to fight viruses, the fruit fly evolves within its own lifespan. If you believe in allah no problem, the problem is the scripture. Allah will understand if you take time off to learn more about science.
