  • Imagine being hit in the head by some random stranger and being knocked out unconscious. Your the type of person to live in poppulated area somewhere in the city not as much as cali or new york. You wind up here and look endlessly to find some1. Would be a bitch.

  • i think we should keep these places and let them excist, ( or actually not excist) but

don't break'em down or anything.. this is american culture!!

  • 'looks like call of duty' it is call of duty you bell, it's on cod4- bloc.

  • chernoble

  • Why they leave the town? O.o

  • @TheAvengedMango= The reactor exploded. If they didn't, they would be glowing in the dark, and their children would have three eyes or something.

  • look like call of duty

  • the region of the accident with a nuclear powerplant of Tsjernobyl !!!

  • Pripyat is in Ukraine dude...

  • this placce is perfect for location filming the next silent hill

  • That is surre the town that is in call of duty ...

  • 1:21 Elizabethtown New Mexico.

  • 1:03 haha looks like Cimarron New Mexico.

  • old abandoned places like this is great if its falling apart and no ones there whats wrong with loading up a truck and taking things that you could use those old table and chairs clean them up a bit can still be used,,why buy it when you can take it for nothing,,old abandoned churches that are falling apart and rotting away whats wrong with taking a church pew a litle furnture polish and it would look nice along the wall inside your house,,so much is wasted,,

  • @Dolphindream15 UMM, MAYBE BECAUSE THEY'RE RIDDEN WITH TOXIC WASTE!?!?!

  • @Dolphindream15 I recognise some of those places as being in and around Chernobyl. Some people did go in to the city and removed all sorts of stuff like doors and other light building materials.

There are likely a few that have been killed by their second-hand doors.

  • @Dolphindream15 Yep sure.. fucking full of radiation rays, eaten with maggots and 20 years old

  • @MultiAREE maybe thats why its a ghost town who knows but still its worth visiting and taking what one can use,,who knows

  • @Dolphindream15 Yep, risking your life for some old and fucked up wooden churches, which you can chop to pieces and make tables of!

I'm sure you'd make big bucks on that

  • @MultiAREE ghost towns can be alot of fun finding who knows what that you can use one can strip the town after one has taken what could be used,, or one can have a party and party goers can strip hey there wouldnt be anyone to bother ya,,but you would have to make a choice as to what to strip the ghost town,,or yourselves at a party not a hard choice to make

  • @Dolphindream15 So you just go to a ghost town, rip everything apart, steal the fucking heating irons for scrap metal, what for?

  • @MultiAREE not really rip everything apart only to take what you could use you wouldnt bennfit from anything by spending all day tearing down a ghost town,,only load up a truck with Items you may be able to use old wooden chairs,,or a chalk board from an old school house cabnets you might be able to install in your own garage for storage,,who knows what ya would find,,tear down a entire ghost town no,,only take what is usefull,,so much is wasted

  • @Dolphindream15 No point in taking hte chairs... Unless you are homeless ofc, otherwize it just shows how poor you are and how you can't respect other's memory

  • @MultiAREE it all depends on how you look at it,,wooden chairs are great to take need extra chairs for a party why buy them,,hell alot of these old wooden chairs in these ghost towns are made better than the wooden chairs of today,,you can take an old church pew and clean it up a bit and use some good furnuture polish on it put it back against a wall in your house it will seat alot of people,,take an old coat rack everyone can use one,Id love to take some stained glass windows

  • @Dolphindream15 Im not that poor

  • @MultiAREE im not that poor either I think its fun to go through ghost towns,,

  • It is in Ukraine

  • the first location city by the way is chernobyl !!!

  • where is ghosts ?????????????????????

  • Hope you didn't catch radiation...

  • Cheronobyl?

  • @metalist007 yes me too !

  • don't worry everything will be alright,

    in five hundred years.

  • look like that place off cod 4

  • Pripyat is on ukraine

  • Welcome to Amerika ....the land of milk and honey...where the streets are paved with gold

  • demolish them and let nature restore.

  • i think that if somebody lives in the ghost towns then they don't care about ghosts,i think they care about they familyes and houses.

  • i feel bad for anyone who lives there..

  • umm... there lives nobody.. that's why they call it ghost town. :D

  • @Emke i know i was being retarded (idk why i just like it) but still teh lonely spirits :o XDDD

  • well, okay. :]

  • @Emke

there still lives a few old ppl in pripyat.. not everyone is gone

  • Great video. Could you tell me the name of this song what is used here.

  • Where's the second place?

  • I'd like to go to pripyat! XD

  • Actually, Pripiat is not in Belorussia, it's in Ukraine!

  • just like call of duty, modern warfare

  • welcone to tsernobyl..

  • Ye the building are just as ugly like the game!

  • @chanman486 infinity ward made a replica of that ghost town in mw

  • @chanman486 because its chyrnoboyl yes it is were they were

  • @chanman486 Fallout: New Russia

  • Thats so creepppyyyy.... I WANNA GOOOOO

  • This is NOT Chernobyl; Chernobyl was the location a few miles away where the nuclear power plant had a reactor core meltdown. This is the city of PRIPYAT, where the workers and families of workers lived, population of approx. 80,000 people. They were evacuated, by force, after the disaster back in the 1980s. It is still too radioactive for anyone to live there (and will be for about 300 years) but people can visit/tour and the short-term doses of radiation are tolerable. Very morbid place.

  • no it IS chernobyl bacause one of my friends family used to live there, his name is Ukiandre19

  • why dont they just re build duh

  • Because everything is highly radioactive.

  • then what do ppl turn into zombies or what haha

  • No, you can die of radiation poisoning, which is a very slow and painful death. If you want to learn more type in "chernobyl" very interesting and scary stuff.

  • It almost looks like Detriot, but not as bad.

  • This is Chernobal, some of my relatives use to live there

  • Comment removed

  • talking about this location looks simular to the sniper level All Gillied Up or whatever it's called.

  • thats because this where the level is based off of

  • some places here are from call of duty 4 moder ware fare

  • 0:28 and the ferris wheel

  • I think I seen some of these shots on.. Life After People!

  • Damn it looks like they just got up and left

i bet you could find some old ass food if you looked or some thing in the storm celler lol

  • i cant beleive pypricat or w/e its called is fucking looted to the max

  • lol, those people then are very stupid, because pryprit (i think its spelled like that) was abandoned because of a nuclear explosion at a nuke plant, its still radioactive there, so they could get radiation sickness and die that way.

  • if i ever find out that i have clienfelter

    or w/e its spelled

if i cant have kids im going there

so i can see something cool and die

  • lol, wow, at least you die happy :D

  • Comment removed

  • but Pripyat is in ukraine

  • that is true, but the "Wolves land" belongs to Belorussia...

  • oh didnt understand that correctly :)

  • ukraine was part of the soviets

  • like i didnt know that

  • oh my giddy auntie! tall blocks of flats are derelict! that's strabge but seriously AWESOME!

  • tha'ts a great shot 1:02-1:05..the music goes great with the images.

  • its chernobyl

  • He must have gotten interested in ghost towns after playing Silent Hill, because that's the music played after the credits, during the very awkward "blooper reel." There :)

  • hermoso.....

  • hear the music y'all...

  • that looks like the EXACT place from COD 4

  • maybe because it is -.-

  • It is the place...

  • Hi i thought that when i saw the wheel as i remember that seen well with the helicopter coming down to get me. Maybe they used this place as the scenes for it.

  • yea, even the buildings are the same, remember the whole sniper level, this location clearly was the placde they got the idea from.... kinda creeepy, i wouldnt want to be hangin around there by myself.

  • yay no 1 around u can go wherever u wan and u can look for some lost money XD

  • I cant think of a better song to go with your vid, Awesome Job.

  • there is 1 man that lives in chernobyl in the winter too sea what the radiation is but in the summer u cant stay there

  • its weird to think, why are these places empty? what happend?

  • chernobyl (the city with the snow) had a nuclear accident and all the residents were forced to evacuate. now nobody can live there for at least 300 more years. and the other towns maybe the people couldn't make a living there and decided to move. and ofcourse they couldn't take their house with them so they left it behind. but yeah, it is weird that someone one day built them with hopes and dreams, and live in them, and now they are just there. weird and sad. wonder how the people live now.

  • do u know waht happens if u stay there

  • you eventually die of radiation poisoning

  • Looks better than Detroit.

  • haha im from detroit and i can agree those places don't have shit on detroit

  • LOL, a moron that knows a tenth of what I do.

As for your commet on the Three Mile Island Nuclear Station The event was largely publicized, but the accident wasn't as terrible as the media made it out to be. The radiation leak was contained and killed no people. If you have evidence to the contrary, I would very much like to hear or.

    Otherwise STFU & STFD.

  • You are genius, lol.

  • I liked the music. It goes with the video. I usually hate peoples music that they post. I didn't notice if you credited it.

  • looks like silent hill XD

but the only thing that is missing is the blood on the halls and streets

  • Just play Call of Duty 4 and see the differences between this town and the one that is used in the video game

  • its so odd.. its like looking into the future when the human race will not existe and how devoid of life it.

just think that it was full of faces and voices but now only silence and emptyness.

like a desert theres no-one left.

how the carneval ride still moved is like it turns only for itself since theres no-one to ride it and the grayness of the place with the overcast sky its a vision of apocalyspe

the true cost of nuclear power

  • I wonder WHERE in America this ghosttown is???

  • Its not in America dumbhead. It's somewhere in Russia.

  • Dumbhead, it is Chernobyl in Ukraine :D

  • no you are the dumbhead,

look in the panel next to the video and it says from a city in russia AND america

  • It's criminally tragic how the people were misinformed. Much the way we are now with governments telling us how much the "new" nuclear technology has improved, cleaner, safer, more efficient. Until the next disaster....

Elena Filatova has done a brilliant job of reminding people of this.

  • How were they misinformed??? The town was built for the workers of the plant, they knew of any possible dangers and yet choose to work there and live there. Second, Nuclear power is safe and reliable. This was the only such accident. The US had one accident and due a better design it was completly contained, there were no injuries or deaths and no leakage!! Sounds like Elena Filatova has told you a dam lie!

  • You idiot! EVERYONE in the Soviet Union was misinformed about almost everything they're govt did. Just as they are in the west. Who do you work for, the nuclear industry? How can you call something safe when the waste it leaves can last 20,000 years - that's TEN times longer than the time since the Roman empire - are you getting some perspective on this?

And "no leakage"? On Three Mile Island? hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!

  • Let's just be truthful here, shall we? What evidence do you have of my stupidity? I'll answer for you: none.

  • The area will not be safe for human habitation for several centuries to come. The most deadly radioactive isotope (caesium-137)(external gamma exposure has a short biological halflife in humans) will take 300 years to decay to one thousandth of its present level. The strontium-90 will decay over a similar time. Strontium is a beta emitter with a long biological halflife in humans. After the caesium activity has decayed to this level the area may be used for most human activities again.

  • catchy tune

  • very good!!!!!!

  • It's hard to think that once upon a time those places were full of colours and happy people...

  • (Finalkfka) Its not hard to imagine, there are plenty of videos on youtube showing people there, just watch them, then you wont have to wonder anymore.. also the place is still full of color, vegatation is growing normall, animal life is flurishing and some people have even moved back to Chernobyl.

  • sad... why don't anybody go there and fix it? I mean Re-build the town and get some "homeless" people move there?

  • It might be because it is just about the most radioactive area on the entire planet and won't be inhabitable for another 500 years or so. I'm not homeless, but I don't think I'd want to live there if I was.

  • You have a point there...

  • The red forest is the most "radioactive" place on the earth... and for your information people are already living and working there!! Do your homework

  • sad...

  • Chernobyl. over 200.000 pepole lived in pripyat now only ca 300 lives there sad but true. now the town rest in peace whit the nature

  • I assume you mean 200k in the whole of the exclusion zone. Pripyat had ~50k people in it.

  • the music of silent hill .cool!!^^

  • hey i have a question to the first town, why no one is there ? why all is so empty there ? pls write me a mail with the answer ( sry for bad english iam from germany and bad in english )

  • It is from the Chernobyl nuclear plant accident, the worst nuclear disaster in history.

  • You used Discovery channel.. but what was the name of the program/documentary used? It's not in Seconds to Disaster AFAIK

  • ghost town makes people feel sad...

  • where is this place and what happend??

  • It's Pripyat in Ukraine. The town of the Chernobyl NPP's workers. Completely evacuated after the disaster.

  • Wow, it looks like where I grew up.

  • But anybody know what happened of the town..?

  • cherynoble

  • That's where radioactive man was created from the simpson's.

    Radiation is a bitch dudes

  • Links added to the video info!

  • yeah its chernobyl the name of the town is Pripyat i rode a motercycle through the area many times. Its safe as long as you dont go off the main road. the core is sealed now. did you know the plant still works

  • yes only one reactor blew. wouldnt want to work in it though. its illegal to ride your bike into pripyat and chernobly eh?

  • Yes, that's illegal :D

And the plant isn't working, the last unit was shut down in 2000.

  • wish we had some in Europe
