the words are a sample from the film "transpotting" it's ewan mcgregor talking. it's ment to be ironic. that LIfe is just things, the collage of mundane but ever more sophisticated things, "matching luggage, leisurewear.." that is Life.. which is why he choose something else.. one would think death.. and it could be. but isn't necessarily death. the irony in it is that "there is more to Life that this".. yet society's mantra is for us to attain these things, as the goal for living.
