Any McDyess mix that focuses on his time with the Pistions FAILS from the outset. The McDyess with the Piston was not the real McDyess, it was only the watered down McDyess that was left over after injuries had taken the extraordinary explosiveness that once made him unique amongst big men.

Mason better than Finley?

Last Season finley shot 41 percent 3pointers makin 10 points, mason 42 pecent and 12 points.

And if you think of Michaels smart decisions in the offense and his much better defense you should give him more time on the field.

Another point: Finley played 15 seasons on a hight level, Mason 1!

You can't really compare Finley and Mason's number of years in the league. Finley's been around for a long time. Mason's still young and right now I'd take him over Finley cause Finley has gotten worse than he was last year.

true. Finley is a better overall player in his career but the other person brought up that Finley has played 15 seasons on a high level and Mason only had one. That's not a fair comparison because Mason has barely played in the NBA.

Mason is deftintley going to start. IF were up to the spurs he wouldnt even be with the team. Now im not saying Fin is bad he is going to be great at the backup SF. Altough Mason is a much Better choice to start than Finley.

Ginobili - technically off the bench, but plays starter minutes. if healthy, and he's had plenty of time to get healthy, hes a top 5 shooting guard behind kobe, wade, roy, and perhaps carter or joe johnson

Jefferson - a player capable of being that 4th scorer is duncan, parker, and manu are on the bench. has put up 20 ppg, but wont need to do that anymore

McDyess - most capable spurs big man next to duncan since robinson. 10-10-2

He's starting now, instead of Amir, because Amir had problems with the strong play of the starting PF's of the opponents. Amir is talented, but he didn't improve much.

Dyess has recorded two Double Doubles in his two starts. He's just playing great, right now.

Yep he's had lots of great games and he previously got a career high with 22 rebounds also with 24 points in the same game against the knicks even though the pistons lost. Dyess deserves a championship more than anyone even AI. Nothing against AI
