  • your not suppose to tell tourist that they only finished it 9 years ago... that was only the spires anyhow... the rest of was completed when you said... 1860 something... Golden Bucket..?? corny much..? its called centrepoint u doosh.. lol

  • @cttn101 I agree... I have never heard it referred to as the 'golden bucket' in my whole life :-/

  • @GubblebumPink Well, the guy is a Sydneysider so he must have heard from someone...

  • @diogok True, but I am a Sydneysider too, and I just meant that I think some of the things the guides say are not accurate and are said just for the sake of being "funny". I have never heard anybody call it the golden bucket, ever! I understand these people are not professional tour guides, however if it were me, I would try to give as accurate information as possible, it's okay to throw in some jokes but not at the expense of accuracy... just my opinion! :-)

  • @GubblebumPink Yeah, I agree, but I still don't think he invented it, he must have heard it... I think... hehe

  • @cttn101

Nope, it is correct to say that a building is unfinished until it is finished.

    Had you seen it before?

    It looked unfinished.

Like millions of Cathedral world-wide, whose benefactors die before they can pay for the spire.
