What needs to happen is we need to change the langauge of our discourse. Words like "abuser" and "victim" imply that only one person should be to blame if a conflict escalates into domestic violence, but this is almost never the case. When people are encouraged to play the victim, this doesn not discourage the violence from happening. What happens is that women take the role of the victim, and never held responsible or punished, then procede to become the "victim" again in future relationships.

FBI said in a study 70% of abuse cases are false higher in divorces. It's a billion dollar industry! Millions are given to WOMEN and only women to build homes, counseling services, attornies and et al. One woman I did counseling with said she went to one of these places and was hit on by the lisbians running the place. Men are abuse but the cops just laugh! In many cases men are killed by poisons, funny heart attacks, hired hit men, home accidents but never investagated!

Any man that beats a woman should be locked up. I think this law is abused by many people. Woman calling on their husband or live in boyfriend to be mean. Or ex's trippen'. Maybe either male/female use it to gain custody of a child or children.  It helps build a negative case against the other parent. Call Hotlines if you are being abused. Their are other options besdes 911.

@DonFamoso This is serious and many Police & Firemen have inicidents to suicide like individuals who are sentence to prison whom have had no prior record of unlawful conduct.

When corruption is well seated in nations OTHER nations monitor. WHY? Well. . .because of a greater community of nations & people possessing their Liberty Interest travel & move about. MANY whom do not regard their OWN Constitution so HOW are they going to respect any other neighbors laws?

Men wouldn't abuse women (in most cases) if the Man ..the leader of his home wasn't under so much pressure to provide and take care of his family if the Govt. would quit selling us all out to live like Peasants. They need to address the cause not the symptoms.

how can a woman abuse a man!??!?! Unless shes one of those bodybuilders or a wrestler then its the man who beats the wife cause women talk too much and dont give enough sex

oh it's possible... From what I've heard, studies have shown that men are abused as well by women, the problem is that most men do not vocalize that as much.

Why is wrestling necessary to abuse? I dont see anything harmful about wrestling. Its gouging at eyes, kicking in balls, using objects and weapons. Its all about anger and animalistic aggression, and not knowing what the other person will do next. It sure doesnt take a bodybuilder, just a stronger than average woman with a weaker than average man. And since when does winning a fight = abuse. Women will start fights that they cant win because they are fearless and irrational when they are mad.
