A "Titan" in journalism doesn't sell out to the Obama campaign for the sake of ratings, and Russert was clearly an important figure behind NBC's decision to do so. Russert, along with Matthews, showed a complete lack of character, integrity and professionalism in playing huge roles in this disgraceful business decision that blatantly and overtly compromised journalism forever.
I subscribe to weekly posts from Meet The Press giving info on the upcoming show. What a shock to get a text from MTP stating Mr Russert had passed away. He was the best. May he RIP. I am praying for his family, friends and collegues.
