  • if you dont like what i like then fuck you.

  • IRON MAIDEN NIGGERS!

  • your honestly a fucking faggot you got an alright taste but how can you hate on death metal when u listen to soad and disturbed fucking bitch u have a terrible taste in music melodeath is good but youre just a fucking tard

  • @SlayerDominates you went from saying i have an alright taste to saying i have a terrible taste in the same sentence, looks like you're the tard here, fucking butthurt Slayer fanboy

  • @monstersocks72 haha yeah I realized that after I posted it but I don't care enough to change it. But ur a fucking bitch. melodeath is good and so is iron maiden but Soad is fucking gay, Disturbed is fucking gay, and Eminem is even more fucking gay. Listen to better music faggot.

  • @SlayerDominates hahaha ok i'll use your tactic now... Slayer is fucking gay, listen to better music faggot

    I WIN

  • @monstersocks72 U need to shut the fuck up bitch. Slayer is not gay, Slayer is one of the most influential bands ever. They pretty much caused death metal. In other words there would probably be no COB or Inflames if there was no Slayer. You can't say that about Slayer when you're wrong, now on the other hand you don't think that SOAD, Disturbed, and Eminem are gay. WTF?!? How does that make any sense? Slayer obviously has much more talent than any of those faggots.

  • @SlayerDominates yeah, because i forgot you have the right to decide which bands are "gay" and which bands aren't... and you have no idea how many times i've heard the "inspiration" argument before and i couldn't give a flying fuck... Slayer wouldn't exist without Iron Maiden, i win, check-mate, fuck off

  • @monstersocks72 I do but I love Iron Maiden so stfu. And Slayer would exist because their main influences were Judas Priest, Venom, and D.R.I.

  • I shouldnt have been so hard on you just because you hate Slayer. You actually have pretty good taste. I actually listen to CoB and Eminem too. And System of a Down. AND IRON MAIDEN (of course!). lol I used to listen to Green Day too. But I FUKIN HATE THEM NOW! God how could I have ever liked them? Oh, ur right, and Death Metal does SUCK. CoB rule! Anyways awesome taste, sorry for all that shit i did on ur channel

  • the funny thing is i like all thease bands and im a scene kid or whatever ya wanna call it but i do prefere my screamo and i know for a fact ppl are gonna dig at me for it so what ya like what you like thats what i say but someone dosent seem to accept this 'cough' monstersocks72 :)

  • Hey nice video mate.

  • Can this be the beginning of us not being assholes to each other? Because this is a damn good list, man. Damn good. I 100% agree with The Eminem Show being his best album, and you had all my favorite Maiden albums in here, too. (With the exception of Piece of Mind). I'd just like to point out that you said any open-minded person should give Disturbed a try, but I can tell by your lack of knowledge of death metal, that you haven't used your own advice.

  • i admire this comment a lot Spencer, however I have given death metal a try and can't find anything that i like about it, apart from some solo's which are pretty kick-ass, it just sounds like noise to my ear XD

  • Hmm...alright. Have you ever tried any progressive/technical death metal? If you haven't, listen to any song off "Symbolic" by Death. That album is flawless.

  • i have listened to some progressive metal

    Dream Theater are fantastic!

and i havent listened to Death much lol as long as they're not like Cannibal Corpse-style death metal then i suppose i can give them a try XD

  • Progressive DEATH metal. And no, later Death is very different from Cannibal Corpse, I honestly think you'd like it.

  • i listened to a couple of songs off that album and i'm of a mixed opinion

some of the melodic parts are really good and the solo's are great but im not a big fan of the vocals really

Crystal Mountain is a fun song to play on guitar!

  • Yeah, the vocals are definitely an acquired taste. The lyrics are really awesome, though, as well (as the solos, etc.) There's a newer band I really like called Born of Osiris that mixes tech with melody (really well, imo) and their vocals are more hardcore-yelling than death metal growling/screaming. Might consider checking them out.

  • yeahhhh i know Born Of Osiris, my mate really likes them but i can't say im a big fan tbh, bit too deathcore-y for my taste lol...

but yeah some Death songs are pretty good like, and fun to play on guitar =)

  • Alright, that's cool. If you ever want any more recommendations, I have a shitload more where those came from.

And about the FOB thing...wow. I didn't know that. That's disappointing. But they put out a minor-label record, 4 regular albums, an EP, a live album, and a greatest hits...so length-they're-around wise, they're not your typical pop-punk band. And I'm guessing they broke up for a pretty legitimate reason, too.

  • hmm yeah i suppose they did ok in just a decade, but in this whole "scene" thing, i wouldn't say they are any different to lets say Panic at the Disco... in fact, they might as well be the same band

also, i recommend you check out At The Gates =P

  • Their sound isn't a whole lot different from PATD's, but I honestly don't think they wanted any part in the whole "scene" thing other bands kind of branded on themselves. FOB's latest album is significantly less mainstream than any other thing they've put out.

I've heard a few songs from At the Gates, I'll check out some more, though.

  • @monstersocks72 dont know if you remeber me but go fuck urself you worthless sack of shit

  • oh and something i want to say about your latest video, where you say Fallout Boy aren't another scene band who come along and write a few songs and then disappear... you do know they split up last week right?

  • @monstersocks72 Wait, you like Dream Theater now? YOU REALLY HAVE AWESOME TASTE!

  • @metal4lifeddie haha yeah Dream Theater are one of my favourites, if i was to make an updated top 10 albums list i would definetely have Awake somewhere in there :P

  • @monstersocks72 I personally think Scenes From A Memory is their best album although Awake is awesome too (both are on my channel)

  • @metal4lifeddie yeahhhh Scenes is great too, personally i'd say the best 2 are Awake and Images and Words

  • lol at mad scene kids rating this vid 1 star... go and wank over pics of Oli Sykes instead you losers

  • OMFG BODOM!!!!!!!

  • ;) ;)

  • DISTURBED!!!!

  • I think you got 2 and 1 mixed up =P. Not a bad list der spencer. your taste seems to cling onto metal tho bud try listening to some other stuff like Floyd or bands like Chillis some pretty good stuff there Skip.

  • nuuuu i do listen to loads of other stuff, this is just my top 10 remember... plus i had Eminem in here =P

  • I think every one of all tastes listens to im. It's like the sign of peace. O OO Mr. Chav please do not bully me for my slipknot hoodie... I do like a bit of Eminem.... "Oh alllright then I shall lit you off on that acount! Good day to you Mr. Mosher" Oh course that would of sounded better if I did it in stand up comedy XD

  • lmao noooo thats not why i like him XD

that sounded like something Russell Brand would say lol you didnt be a sly hen and nick that off him did you =P

  • nuuu I didnt but I do like his stlye and see a bit of myself in him at times xD
