I got your link from the Joker Blogs, chick you mad my job sooo much easier, I had an old look like from the Comics, but wanted the Dark Knight look, you are a make-up genius, I will post pics with your method, amazing!
If you follow the tutorial, the make-up process is pretty easy. Even if your skin is dark, this will still cover your face, so the color of your skin has nothing to do with the final effect. Hope this helps.
Your skin color does not matter because your behind the fake up. We are looking at your art on your face and how you make us feel when we se your art work
I do use rigid collodion, I just didn't use it for this tutorial. I wanted to throw together a quick and easy tutorial for those who don't have access to collodion or latex for scars :)
You just saved me! I am going to a 'Hollywood-theme' party on Friday and now I've got my outfit, a tipp for all: Get a huge white T-shirt, go to a print-shop and let them print "Why so serious???" on it. Great effect, when you turn up at the party :D Use halloween writing for it, so that it will look like blood, perfect!
I followed your tutorials, and my joker makeup turned out better than i expected! Everyone at the halloween party i just went to said i was the best joker they'd ever seen! Thank you so much! You rule! Big Time! XXXX
(Jester from the Superherohype boards/RaMMYz from LJ)Love how I keep running into you on like every site XD. you have a facebook and myspace too? *shot*
anywho I love how confident you sound here and how you overlapped your voice instead of speaking and applying the makeup. It really helped the audio. I will def give this to my makup artist when its time to go through mine!
Amazing job! Im definitely gonna follow this when i go as Joker for halloween. Thanks. I've managed to get all the costume parts, now all i need to do is dye some trousers purple!
lol.I love your joker make up, you look just like joker you just need the Red/Orange WIG and a Nurse suit and you can dress up like in the hospital scene! That one's my fave!
I just watched both of your Joker videos and they were SO much help! Thank you so much! You Rock!
I'm going to be the Joker for Halloween and also for a horse competition. I'm even going to dress up the horse I ride as my scary Joker assistant, lol. ^_^
DUde your awesome!!!Hi im a kid who wants to be the Joker for halloween and i watched your video a couple more times and practiced on the make-up but i still seem to need more help.So any suggestions?
I'm not a professional, but I've always dreamed of doing this professionally. Needless to say, I just do make-up for fun. I've even tried my hand at two-face make-up, but I have yet to do a tutorial for that one.
I'm happy to see that you're going to be using my tutorial as a base design for your own Joker make-up! Makes me feel as though I'm doing something right!
sorry if double post but I know you, your over on the "superhero hype forums"- me too(ClintF) :) You did a great job with the make up and tutorial plus using regular cosmetic make up, great work on the shadowing around the eyes and nose areas, plus you got the forehead wrinkles down great.
Hey I know you, your over on the "superhero hype forums"- me too:) Great job on the make up and tutorial, great detail in the shadowing around the eyes and nose and you go the forehead wrinkles right, again great job
You did a stellar job. But I think you made the scars a bit too wide. Like, they're not really ear to ear. But your technique was super fabbo. I'm stealing your method for when I do Joker make-up.
i have only noticed one thing that everyone seems to do..his right scar goes all the way up into a curve on sortof under his eye and the other one just goes straight out...thats all..
I just threw this tutorial together pretty quick ( put the make-up on in about 11 min ), so I was playing speed demon to get it done fast. However, I'll be sure to keep the proper placement of the scars in mind!
I think I love you, thanks a lot :)

does the white cream stiffen on your face so you cant really smile or anything, or is it a thin cream so its easy to smile?
And also, if i put the cream all over my face then use the black and red make up over the cream, will i smuge away the cream?
SweeneyToddFan12 3 years ago
the white makeup still lets u smile and the black and the red do smear wich is a little bit good

Are you a professional makeup artist or something? you're very good at this, especially the little details and such.
I'm going to use this for my own Joker makeup for Halloween, if you don't mind. Thanks so much for posting this, great job.
