you can't compare AT&T and Verizon there both on different networks if you wanna compare networks compare Verizon to Sprint they use the same network or T-Mobile to AT&T so AT&T vs Verizon is a different ball game

Any smart phone on AT&T can do it. Verizon can't unless you're on WiFi.

@Foxamigo Actually on Verizon Wireless, the Motorola Droid or any of the Androids, you can pretty much do anything while you're on a call just like the iPhone.

@iTALiANH00kA Nothing data intensive like check e-mails or surf the web while your on a call using the network. You can only do that while on WiFi. The CDMA standard does not allow this to my knowledge. I'm sure that all Android phones can multitask but it can't do it while on the phone depending on the nature of the network(CDMA vs GSM).

other phones, it's the way at&t network is setup for multi-in call functions, vzw's network isn't setup for that too my knowledge.

at&t network allows you do that, so if youre using htc or anysmart phone, you can use internet while in a call.
