Amazing memory for an infant.. My son trained our cat to sit while her food is being served and only approach to eat on his command to eat. I was stunned when he did it. I didn't know one can train a cat. I thought you can only train dogs. Our dogs are trained to wait and eat on command.

I'm just saying - either the timing is off on the video or it's being dubbed. If the timing is off fine. Parents show their kids stuff all the time and they memorize it. If you showed the same child reciting a book of colors it would be no big deal. But show them reciting a book of people and whoa - they're so smart! A child will remember what you tell them. And people will do ANYthing to get on TV. No, I didn't see the program. But I am skeptical of how SMART someone is based on memorization.

i agree that the baby isn't a genious, but it is unusual for a baby to be able to recognize people's images, since they are so complex. Memorization in this isn't relatable to colour or numbers, but it is still memorization.

I don't know if it is real, but I know it could be, because that is exactly how my daughter was. At 12 months she was speaking in sentences, and started writing her name "Alex" at 2years old. People would stop us every in amazement everywhere we went, when they would see me carrying on a conversation with a 12 mth. old. This cute little girl actually reminds me "alot" of my daughter. So anyone putting this vid down, may just be mad that she is smarter than them. ( Or their kid )
