  • I show this video to everybody who thinks Star Trek Federation ships are no match for Star Wars Star Destroyers. Awesome battle sequence.

  • @Mitchz95 Kinda hard to compare. =) Star Wars is all about huge ships and extremely small, extremely agile fighters. Star Trek is usually about something in between. Though I guess you could probably compare the Millenium Falcon to the Defiant. ;-)

  • @twsx The Falcon never killed a Star Destroyer.

  • @Mitchz95 star wars ships in my opinion are more powerful but it would be an awesome matchup

  • @666PTH You really have nothing else to do, do you?

  • @Anarchist86ed yeah i do actually.

  • @Mitchz95 If you have no life that debate matters.

  • @Anarchist86ed What's that supposed to mean? Sometimes people get into arguments about whether Star Trek or Star Wars is the better franchise. I explain why I prefer Trek, and somehow it always dissolves into what would happen if there was a battle between the two. Of course it doesn't really matter, I just like debating.

  • @Mitchz95 Here's how the retarded arguement is won. Federation beams explosives onto star killers, or whatever they're called. BOOM. Debate over. But I'm sure someone will come back with "dark rader uses mind powers to make explosive go away".

  • Although they were called the Terran Rebilion I wish they had put some symbols of the Terran Empire on there Defiant Class Prototype

  • they should have made a series on the mirror universe, they would have had a ball.

  • i think its a third univirse

  • I love Garak: "... to remove your august presence from the battlefield." rofl

  • I had always wished they had brought the Dominion in through the worm hole in the Mirror Universe.Than the Dominion offers the humans a chance to join and once again be the rulers of the Alpha Q.Plus have 'our' Sisko there and all his mistrust of the Dominion from his own universe. The humans happy about their new 'friend' and Sisko trying to warn them.

  • @rtds9fan I like it! You should be a writer for Star Trek, especially the Star Trek movies, then we might of had more consistently excellent films.

  • @rtds9fan interesting concept. However, there is no strategic value for the Dominion to ally itself with essentially a "slave" race/group. Also, it seems unlikely the Dominion to know about the wormhole. But it would have been good to see the Dominion in the Mirror Universe, whether they be the same malevolent organization or some sort of Federation countpart.

  • 1:46 he pushes one button and all the lights go off

  • One of my favorite DS9 dogfights.

  • Is it just me or does this battle remind anyone of the final battle of the Last Starfighter when Alex takes on the command ship

  • i wish tng did mirror episides like this id love to see an evil picard

  • I'm sure glad ds9 got rid of shields, they were never that useful anyways.

  • David Vs. Goliath in space.

  • "It's nice to have something to look forward to" haha love it =D

  • @willmott2k10 Garak's the same, no matter the universe....

  • Wait. So was this the same Mirrorverse with the Terran Empire and all? Or a different AU?

  • @AlleluiaElizabeth It's the same universe. When Spock's mirror alter ego became the Terran Emperor he made the Empire more pacifist, so Klingons and Cardassians rebelled and ensalved Humans. In 2373 an accident in the Bajorian Wormhole took Kira and Bashir in the Mirror Universe and there they induced Sisko's and O'Brien's counterparts to create a Terran Resistence. Thank to Jennifer Sisk's alter ego they conquered Terok Nor and here they are defending the station.

  • @AlleluiaElizabeth

same mirror universe where the Terran Empire was beaten to submission, and now a group of rebel remnants fight against the conquers that beat 'em

  • I remember reading about the TNG episode "Parallels" where they were gonna talk to the Mirror Universe Enterprise D, but chose instead to show the one where the borg crapped on everything.

I wish they chose differently; Evil Picard!

  • LOL, pattern suicide. best line yet

  • I think we just have to admit that the "Mirror" universe just puts everyone in the "evil" category...we just get to ask the question of "how evil is "evil"?

  • Sisko is a pimp

  • MOST EPIC EPISODE EVER!

  • I'm glad the mirror universe Bashir is a bad ass, Dr. Bashir was always my favorite character on DS9.

  • Are there anymore star trek battle clips you got?

  • Look at sisko having all the fun whipping some Klingon and Cardassian Ass.

  • if u put transphasic torps on your ship one shot will kill i did that in bridge commander cause i love powerfui federation ships

  • i miss Sisko and the crew! DS9 started out slow but became such a good show!

  • This Episode was Great ! I remember seeing it the night after it was on for the first time. I taped it and was just simpy amazed at the story and at the Level of Special effects that the episode required.

  • I love the characters in the Mirror Universe! xD

Which episode was this from? I hadn't seenit before. O_O

  • Check the video description.

  • Ah, thx

  • Garak and worf were Brilliant in the mirror universe epps :P Bashir was a total rebel !!

man dose any body know if the part were worf stabs Garak is on you tube.. ?

  • Wait,if it was mirror universe...wouldn't the Federation be the evil one and Klingons beacon of civilsation?

  • No, not neccesarily.

Also, there is no Federation in the mirror universe.

And also, the Federation is no specific race.

  • Originally, there was the Terran Empire, but when Kirk and his crew beamed over and talked to the Mirror Spock, who served the Empire, he led a rebellion for peace and the Empire fell. 'Mirror' does not exactly mean opposite; in fact, the two universes may have started out exactly the same, but something happened and changed the parallel universe.

  • Actually they answered that in ent..instead of making peace with vulcan zephran cockran boarded their ship.

  • Actually before ST:E it was that it was a coin flip that Zefram would tell some details about the borg to the vulcans or not, in the mirror universe it was that he told them and they refused to take up arms early on to fight them so he took there ship and that lead to the "evil" starfleet.

  • The mirror universe's quantum alignment is at best, Neutral Evil.

  • There was an "evil Federation" in that universe: The Terran empire (see ENT: "In a mirror, darkly" and TOS: "Mirror, mirror"). It was conquered by the Klingon/Cardassian alliance after the battle of Wolf 359 in one of William Shatner's novels.

  • @Dalbert342

If you ask me, the term "mirror universe" isn't really fitting.

  • @Dalbert342 The federation is a interplanetary alliance, like the UN on earth.........

  • @Dalbert342 LOL you think like Rom^^

  • STFU fucktard

  • you are the tard that does not see that this is kind of the worst acting in a star trek series ever... these silly lines within battle... the totally ruin it.

TNG is about 100 times better than this crap.

  • DS9 is not crap

It's one of the best trek series by far, along with TNG

If you think this is crap, then you haven't seen the new movie

  • Couldn't have said it better myself.

  • So can't we just settle for, "everyone has their own opinion?"

  • Avery Brooks is awesome. So is his character.

    GTFO.

  • @twsx That's why he's called The Sisko; first name - Don't F*ck With.

  • his voice is wicked !! shame on you for saying its not,.

  • Either Sisko is a really good pilot....or that Klingon is a shit shot!

  • Well he did help design the Defiant, so if he cant fly it right, no one can

  • So the Defiant defeated a The Negh'Var-class warship and a bunch of bird of prey with the help of one terran raider? I dont' buy it but still fun to watch.

  • I'm sure the Negh'Var wasn't built for close range combat. As for the BoP's the Defiant was also built to be more maneuverable.

  • I tried Defiant vs. Neghvar in Armada 2 and Neghvar didn't even lose a crewman. Defiant was blown up.

  • you aren't captain Sisko

  • Apparently, it uses a different mechanic than is used here.

  • @duskwalker2 Well, in Armada 2 your defiant is also sitting perfectly still for the negh'var to blast to pieces, unlike this one, which is both constantly moving and too close to get an accurate shot..it's like trying to hit a particularly fast fly buzzing around you...except this fly fire phasers and photon torpedoes.

  • @tremedar Yeah, I love Armada, but it annoys the crap out of me that the ships just sit still and trade shots. In Armada 1, Worf: "The Avenger is no match for a Negh'var class battleship." Me: "Um, yes, it is!"

  • Ah, pattern suicide?

    XD

  • sisko's voice.....high pitched in battle

  • It never ceases to amaze how a ship manouvering like that can be done by just pushing a few buttons.. sureley it'd need a steering wheel

  • Heh. I'd go with a joystick rather than a wheel.

You are right though of course, seems like a flaw in all Star Trek films and series. ;)

  • I always thought that... a joystick would be far more efficient, surely.

  • just like what tom put into the delta flyer....

  • No, not really. A living pilot would never be able to execute maneuvers like this anyway. Most of it is done by the ship's computer.

  • Yes, the crew input instructions for the ship to take certain evasive maneuvers. The computer probably handles a lot of it.

  • far fetched theory,

but if you look at the helm console in 2:19, that circle interface looks alot like pitch and angle controll, u know, ur up down, left right, roll, twist and what not, if its all there for you, you wouldnt really need a joystick:P joystick would just be another thing to break in tight and stressfull situations:P

  • Garek is so great in all of these

  • Also cool is the 4:12 two-shot on the Defiant's part. Bassy.

  • Sisko's eye-roll at 1:18 makes this whole thing rule.

  • The best scene ever, but I CANNOT believe you cut out the next 5 seconds where Worf yells, "I have been betrayed." With Garak's chain in his hands. A+ nonetheless.
