  • This was such a kick ass, explosive album, Sleigh Bells makes fun of pop... most of people, like anthony, dont get their point

  • I disagree with the review but I thumbed up because he speaks truth.

Yes sleigh bells arent going to give you a nuanced, academic journey into a perfect work of musical art. But Im going to see this band live next week, and Id guess that thats the real hotspot.

Im going to go get shitfaced and see a band thatll give me one hell of a live experience. Similar to Fantanos soda comparison, theyll taste good, but they might make me sick :P

  • The idea that the album is more attitude and energy than actual music i kind of agree with. i love this album but at the same time i almost never listen to it straight through unless i'm at the gym cuz if im hanging out it gets exhausting and repetetive. at the same time there are few songs that get me more excited or amped as one-offs than Tell Em or A/B machines. i love the loud and proud personality behind the style. its fun catchy and intense but very surface-y. not everyones cup of tea tho

  • anthony was so awkward back then.

  • erm, yeah its supposed to be loud, they're a noise duo. duh.

  • rill rill is only good because of the funkadelic sample

  • @hbsux im not trying to be condescending but that's kinda like saying "Juicy" is only good cuz of the "Juicy Fruit" sample. i doubt if you talked to they guy that he would say, "ya i totally killed it on the beat for rill rill." he just picked a nice snippet from a song added some drums and other effects and laid new vocals. sample based tracks can sometimes largely be about how you flip it or chop it up but sometimes the whole point of a song is what they chose to sample... just a thought

  • nope

  • This guy obviously doesn't like electronic music, I don't even know why he reviews it.

  • @Smilesandstyles22 hahahahahahahahah

  • @Smilesandstyles22 you should watch more than one of his videos. lol. And what the hell is electronic about this album? The drum machine? I agree with the review. It really is unbearable.

  • I realize that this a really late review, but I wanted to comment nevertheless. I couldn't get into this group. It just didn't do anything for me at all. It just sounds like something to listen to while your shooting a machine gun while watching Predator 2 while dressed up as the Predator character while also eating ice cream.

  • This. Makes. Me. Want. To. Kill. Something. Sleigh. Bells. NYEEEHH

    ALLISON? ALEXXIIIISS

  • You've got to be fucking kidding me. They're not even close to lil Jon and brokencyde. They're amazing. it's loud fucking bass and bangs and guitar and it's fucking sick fuckfuckfuckibfjsoao. Your a dumbass and just aren't hipster enough to know this shit.

  • Heard Riot Rhythm on Saints Row The Third. I think they're alright, but I wouldn't consider them next to Brokencyde.

  • Kinda had a le tigre feel to it, though I do find this to be more accessible on those grounds. kinda immature in application but what good music is fully mature. It's a love have kinda deal with them good music to edit to fun if the time calls for it.

  • I really don't mind how loud it is, I can dig it.

  • I totally agree with you !

  • sleigh bells with alison krauss on vocals would be absolutely hilarious

  • I think Sleigh Bells tries to create a backdrop here. Treats is a twisted vision of high school and college life, made up of razors, drugs, alcohol, snotty cheerleaders, hangovers, coked out sex, clique warfare, and the naivete and insanity of it all. I thought the twisted album art and the Infinity Guitars video really exemplified the point of the album. Anyway, its a high 8 in my book. And you've gotta admit, the way they used Can You Get To That in Rill Rill was genius.

  • Ehhhhh... Similar to BrokenCyde? Really?

  • sleeeeeeeeeeeep!

  • I didn't think I'd like it after watching this review, but I sort of did... I agree with everything you said in this review, but I sort of liked it. It was loud and obnoxious, the tracks were short and the album was only half an hour long... but good? I'm confused... *~*

  • the album/band is genre'd as "noise pop" but this album is too goddamn loud to be considered noise pop, more like "distored/cd-after-dropped-in-a-bathtub pop"

i wouldn't call it a "hip-hop" influence, but more like ke$ha songs being mixed by U2 and salem, this band's only life saver is "infinity guitar", which i do really like, in fact its the only one i can tolerate.

  • Brokencyde makes me ill, so does Blood On The Dance Floor. I love Sleigh Bells through and through. Rill Rill is the best track though.

  • DONT TRY TOO SHOW UR LEFT tat 2 hard. no nobody noticed!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • He's right Rill Rill is the best track

  • I think the album is kind of half and half. The songs on here I like, I really like. I like Tell'Em, Kids, Infinity Guitars and Riot Rhythm, all good songs. The rest are so overly distorted that it comes across less like songs and more like noise. I didn't like Rachel, Straight A's or Run of the Heart, and I absolutely hate A/B Machines.

  • im a fan but wont get pissed off like all the other SB fanatics. its a review on a music album which means its his own opinion. do you only expect him to say positive shit from start to finish? no so stop getting so fucking butthurt, its annoying

  • hmmm, i really have to disagree with you on this one mang

  • I do like maybe a few songs. Infinity Guitars, Riot Rhythm, and Tell 'em being my faves. They're ok for maybe something to pump me up but for casual listening is a no. The loudness gets old pretty fast.

  • The thing about sleigh bells is that their music is all about fun. It's not about musicianship or songwriting and they have acknowedleged that their music doesn't require you to think at all. I listen to a lot of introspective music and when I get tired of doing that I listen to something like sleigh bells. If you're listening to this music expecting some kind of spiritual enlightenment then you're missing the point.

  • It's cute to see you act like you know what you're talking about.

  • electro-pop meets southern hip-hop? Did bloodredsumo already review this?

  • SO PROVOCATIVE.

  • Same story here. Gave it a couple of open ear listens to the album, but, ultimately averted from it. Very few songs are alright, while others are just too obnoxious. I agree with Anthony to some extent. He's obscene Brokencyde comparison was just an hyperbolic one. Made to prove a point.

  • comparing sleigh bells to brokencyde.... I FUCKING LOVE YOU ANTHONY!

  • 2 months ago I commented below on why I liked and disliked Treats and why it was in my rotation. It's a brilliant album! ...now I barely listen to it... ex. once a year I break out license to ill and listen to a couple tracks, and then it goes back in the pile for another year. Now, Gonjasufi, Battles, and Four Tet I play once a week or so, and every time i do...i feel like i have no idea what the fuck just happened. Lets be honest about what we're listening to.

  • I'd love to hear breathy female vocals on a Sunn O))) track

  • I don't get whats so bad about the album cover? :')

  • lol. sleigh bells fans should calm the fuck down.

  • @Rabbitthateats youuu don't understandddddddddddddddddddddddd WAH!!!!!!!!! :(

  • eh I feel kinda stupid for getting this album... I expected better. The whole CD the girls voice is drowned out, I wasn't expecting that for a whole album.

  • SERIOUSLY?? i can understand the rest of ur review but WOAH take it easy bud, brokencyde is complete and utter shit and i guess i can see where ur coming from...I THINK, but anyways dont stoop that low to compare them to brokencyde please. not hating tho ur great at what u do but dont compare them to brokencyde :(

  • Conclusion: Sleigh Bells fan can't handle criticism.

I didn't like this album either. I gave it a couple of listens, tried to get into it but ultimately it didn't do anything for me... Apart from give me a headache.

  • Yo Anthony, I'm really happy for you, I'ma let you finish, but Sleigh Bells has one of the best albums of all time!!!

  • Comment removed

  • You guys can thank the true mastermind behind this ablum: GEORGE CLINTON and his band FUNKADELIC!!!! It seems that "Rill Rill" is decided to be the best track. Sleigh Bells sampled the guitar riff on that song off of "Can You Get to That" by Funkadelic. ITS THE SAME RECORDING AS THE ORIGINAL!! If you ask me, that song is much, much better than "Rill Rill". Treats is okay. Not the best, but its fine.

  • this album got old fast. had no replay value. hit hard in the beginning but nothing i can stomach more than a couple times

  • Thank god I wasn't the only person who didn't like it. It was recommended on a topic for album of the year and I thought I'd check it out. I hated it. The concept basically is "let's make as much noise as possible with unstructured songs, pointless guitar riffs and nauseatingly loud drum beats, oh and add awful vocals to that". Like a child had been let lose in a rehearsal studio. The only nice track is Rill Rill and that is ruined by how monotonous her vocals are. Really didn't like it.

  • I want to know what this dude thinks about gay bands like the all time low, panic at the disco we the kings etc

  • Ultimately, only a churlish, dead-eyed cynic would refuse to be moved by this inspired mix of riotous noise and feel-good vibetastic-ness.

  • I just bought Treats last week. I've haven't been this obsessed with an album since forever. I particularly like how ironic the singers angelic voice sounds against the raging instrumentals. The lyrics are nonsense though haha.

  • Completely agree, i saw them before lcd soundsystem this year, they are by far the worst group i've ever had to see live. She constantly screeched into the microphone and the guitarist walked on and off the stage for 5 to 10 minutes at a time and when he came back on he played the most obnoxious bullshit

  • i agree with this 100 percent. and have since i first heard these guys on xmu a year ago

  • I DON'T CARE I LOVE ITTTT!!!!! :D

  • This review can be summed up like this: He makes a ton of good points except for the fact that he compared Sleigh Bells to brokencyde. I didn't capitalize brokencyde because they are on the same level as shit. And I don't capitalize shit.

  • this album blows, but... if you're going to be obnoxious you have to either be funny or smart... give up your ambition for a career on camera

  • Jesus Christ, it's not that amazing., commenters. Just because it's loved by Pitchfork, doesn't make it exempt from being compared to crunkcore.

  • Sleigh Bells is fucking amazing, the album is a 5 out of 5 for me, and I just saw them live- suuuuuuch good live performers. You're a douche for thinking they're at ALL like Brokencyde.... that's ridiculous.

  • @tylercbush U mad lad?

  • i like it like you like the new beastie boys album, fun but no substance! and you gave that a nine for the same reasons as this LP, ballsy and new. All subjective, but thought you were going to like it, oh well.

  • What we see here is a contrived album review. I have no idea who this guy is, or why he is reviewing albums, but he has less than 20,000 views... So... he obviously has no credibility in what he claims to be his profession.

  • @dannyruxspin Wow...just wow. That was inspirational. I should write it down, "Less than 20,000 views" means someone isn't popular enough to express their honest opinion. Drat, if only he had 20.001 views...

  • @dannyruxspin lol credibility.... either nobody has credibility in the internet or people just lose all their credibility in the internet.

  • Wow, get bent.

  • sleigh bells fucking rock!

  • see them live, infinitely better than on the album, damn they go so hard.

  • So, I've been listening to this for a few months in my rotation and the reason i like it is the same reason i likes Licensed to Ill when I was 16....because it's aggressive, obnoxious, and pop. I also love the vocals...but then, I'm a male. If i owned a pop radio station, this would be heavy rotation. Why I don't like it is, the music is mostly simplistic, the production makes the album, and it really has no staying power as far as surprising me when I listen to it a year from now.

  • i don't see how this is pop at all. the tracks do follow a formula, but it's nothing like the verse chorus shit you hear on the radio. they're unique i guess

  • @ianforcher Pfffft... unique. It's Jesus Mary Chain without the British 80s apathy, with modern twee vocals, and an aggravating drum machine. In theory it sounds like something I would enjoy, but I can't stand this duo.

  • I can't believe this got hyped so much either, and it's extremely gimmicky. Nonetheless, it's alright. Just alright.

  • Completely agree with you man. Sleigh Bells is the new hipster piece of shit that has hit the streets. The album is very boring. Sound's just like MIA and I know she put SB out on her label. I don't get the popularity of this band, I guess it's just marketing. All the cool hipster kids love this crap though. Good review btw.

  • lol. the same way he said he doesn't have to agree to the review. YOU DON'T HAVE TO LIKE HIS EITHER!!! I just like hearing people's opinions. It challenges me to think of music in new ways.

  • @RobbyWithNoIE I'm not really sure how u read the comment to mean "Kanye has metal elements in his album." I was actually saying that Sleigh Bell's record has some metal influence, as well as pop and hip-hop. My main point is....Anthony tends to go against the grain. Kanye had the best album of last year and Anthony gave it a shit rating, and Sleigh Bells also had a very critically acclaimed album that Anthony shitted on. It's all good. We all have opinions, but I'm on team Sleigh Bells/Kanye.

  • This guy always tries to go against the grain. Treats was a top 20 album of 2010 (metacritic) and this dude completely underrates it. I mean COME ON. Treats (to me) is one of the albums that is a game changer. Hip-Hop/Metal/Pop. its a genius-work. He did the same thing on Kanye's album

  • A lot of people are angry, but I still don't see any redeeming qualities presented in the comments. I actually agree with Mr. Fantano's review. The two tracks he listed, I enjoyed. The rest were in my opinion not so good. I wouldn't go so far as a 3 but around a 5ish.

  • I have to disagree LOUDLY. This is exactly how the cover shows it: cheerleader music gone wrong. It's interesting in how it mixes the prep school teenage aesthetic with abrasive crunk. It's like an expression of the decadece of american ideals. Music for a college gun-check booth. My fave tracks are Infinity Guitars and Run The Heart (like Ke$ha on zyklon now a zombie), which need to be heard loud.

  • What a sad, sad man.

  • How DARE YOU COMPARE SLEIGH BELLS TO BROKENCYDE

IT'S NOT AS BAD AS BROKENCYDE

NOTHING IS AS BAD AS BROKENCYDE

    i am ashamed...

  • I have to disagree with you on this review but I like how angry everyone is getting

  • I was blown away at how listenable this album is. My first listen gave me chills and will certainly place each song individually on the media-listening device of my preference (haha). Sleigh Bells sounds like a marching band's percussion arrangement coupled with Toni Basil and Gwen Stefani for styling, plus perhaps Kevin Shields sitting around for help with the distortion via guitars. The thunderous beats and guitar bangs are so intense that they are hard to no bob my head to it. I love it. 9/10

  • you made a lot of people mad lol.

  • i have to disagree with you about crown on the ground - i enjoyed how unapologetically massive it sounded, and how it not only was insanely distorted but also resonated at all the right frequencies.

i have to say though...the energy and ballsiness of this duo don't really make up for their lack of ability to play a live show, sadly. and rill rill was a lot less impressive after i found out that the music was mostly sampled from a different song. :( but it's still one of the best on the album.

  • I love Sleigh Bells. But I love this review as well. Keep 'em coming.

  • you're a really irritating man

  • @Duckshirt What is it that makes him irritating? The fact he dislikes the music you listen to?

  • @psocidae i've heard negative reviews of good albums that weren't done by a human turtle

  • @Duckshirt Explain? Is he supposed to look like a turtle? That is kind of unnecessary.

  • @psocidae i apologize, splinter

  • @Duckshirt Splinter?

  • @psocidae someone with such high regard for turtles must be rat-like in some way (THAT WAS A NINJA TURTLES JOKE YOU FUCKING IDIOT WITH NO CULTURAL REFERENCE POINTS)

  • @Duckshirt Just because I didn't watch a shitty cartoon from the 80's makes me an idiot with no cultural reference points? Just that one example? So, it must be the ONLY cultural reference. Strange...I thought would be more than that.

  • The aggressiveness and distortion is what I like. But one thing I didnt hear him touch on is that it all sounds the same. Its okay for a first LP, but I hope they make a little more variety in their next one.

  • Thank you for publicly exposing Sleigh Bells for what they really are...I'm serious, this was a good review and needed to be said.

  • you're right about it being a bit contrived, and it reeks a little bit of scenester.

however, i wouldn't go as far as calling it as bad as brokencyde. i personally enjoyed treats, but i dont chalk them up to be something theyre not. theyre not some breakthrough artist that has revolutionized the genre, theyre musicians making music.

    i appreciate your reviews, though.

  • @sargeantwelsh

They revolutionized the pop scene in america, its noise-pop at its finest and harder hiphop beats than in the states and its not like lil john its more like Jazze Pha-Timbaland(missy elliot days) on a hard as level and the guitar rifs are amazing! THIS WHENT BEYOND THE ORDINARY IN AMERICAN POP or in any genre it was truely ground breaking, this is shit they make in europe and yet sleigh bells made that style very appealing.

  • @SMS2RR oh hey, thanks for your comment. i really didnt know much about this genre, admittedly. very cool. this album grew on me btw, i really enjoy it :)

  • hahah, you're so wrong, and lame. Treats is fucking amazing.

  • i love that you mention swans and melt banana, considering most sleigh bell fans probably have no fucking clue who they are. your review is perfect.

  • THE MUSIC SPEAKS TO ME, I LOVE THE BEATS!!! Your review was very insightful, but I brought the album and it SLAYS...! They def have a fan!!! GO GET THEIR ALBUM PEOPLE 8.00 DOLLARS on amazon.com!!!

  • yeah youre review didnt make me laugh, but i did get pissed off about how much of ass you were being. if you dont like it, thats fine. but at least have the decency to respect them as artists, and not crack up like a jackass.

  • I love sleigh bells but everything he say's is correct, can't be mad at it.

  • BROKENCYDE!!!?!?!?!!?!?!? WTF!!!!!

    Sleight Bells are great.

But I must admit, your review made me laugh.

  • I actually like this album a lot. It's exciting and combines hip hop drums with metal, which I think works actually quite well

  • by the way, the guitarist was in a heavy metal band. just saying

  • Julie Christmas and Sunn O))) collab would be titty.

  • All I have to say Is Listen to Tell 'Em by Sleigh Bells as loud as possible. Beauty

  • I compleatly agree with you. If I listen to one song on this album u have listened to the whole thing. I love kids. We listen and dance to it in music composition class but its only awesome for like the intro and then the first verse then its just annoying

  • I enjoyed the review but feel a little differently than you. I approach Sleigh Bells a little differently than I do a band like say, NIN. Its not about the production or complexity or even instrumental talent. Its about the bass heavy beats, sugary sweet vocals, 2 edgy chords thrown in a blender and coming out pretty damn catchy. I love how everythings distorted, distorted vocals, distorted guitar riffs, distorted everything. Could be heavier in the guitars but thats a small complaint.

  • I like the energy, and the "I dont care if I bottle people till they bleed" type sound.

Very raw, very anti-clean. I like them, but then again i understand your point.

    But... brokencyde... that was vile

  • This is the best review you have ever done.

  • how dare you compare sleigh bells to brokencyde!

  • @richie0091993 Because they both suck? Dickhead.

  • @richie0091993 Yeah, that kind of goes beyond the realm of criticism. Comparing anything to Brokencyde is pretty much slander.

  • @richie0091993, 0_0 I was thinking the same thing 0_0 Really, guy? Really? 0_0

  • I think you made a good point about the attitude vs music ratio ( or style vs. substance maybe? I don't know). The songs are ridiculously catchy though, and I think that takes some kind of talent. I'd give it a strong 3/5. Your reviews are so well informed and articulated, though. I enjoy them very much.

  • ok dude so usually i agree with a lot of your reviews but this one i STRONGLY disagree with!! Sleigh bells is rad! love their beats, lo-fi production, vocals, and guitar sound so yea you let me down on this one man!!

  • Sleigh Bells fan here:

I like Sleigh Bells for quite a few reasons but the one that made me fall in love with them and still like them after all this time is nothing beats sticking their tracks into a nice car stereo and driving around town with your buds blasting this as loud as it goes. It's loud and proud about it and it scares the shit out of people and it creates quite a powerful environment in the car. And when I'm alone tracks like rill rill always bring me back to them.

  • Novelty scenester hip hop? Sounds like you're describing yourself.

  • i disagree with what u say, but i respect it, cause u don`t come off as some asshole, like mues for instance. I also love how acknowledge this is your opinion, and not fact.

u sir got a new subscriber

  • Comment removed

  • i love how fierce the album is...Crown on the Ground is also a good one you didn't mention that just pounds and makes you wanna walk around with a baseball bat like she does in the Infinity Guitars vid :P

Its distortion made my dad ask me if I needed new speakers hahaha but you mentioned the energy and thats why I dig it I think. This girl is fierce, and she kinda makes me think of Uffie and I like that style. I'm sure this is just the beginning for them!

  • hipster hop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • sleigh bells = m i a + biters

  • Srly, people judge songs with their own opinions and put all those personal judgment into "official" review ?? Is that legal ?

  • @SolalChabauty Isn't that what reviewers for Pitchfork/Sputnik/RollingStone/whatever do? Only difference is some of those get paid by talking shit/blowing bands.

  • @momsbluedress ...And don't show their irritating voice/face.

  • kids is a nice song!!!

  • tell em and infinty guitars are great songs. the rest i can pass on.

  • gotta disagree man...I came to this album sort of late (see: pitchfork's best of 2010). But I took to it right away. It's almost like...beach house on ADHD meds? I enjoy your reviews but I was a little surprised by this. This is just some high energy music..it's fun! It's soda pop! Not meant to be analyzed too closely. Just a great album to put on when you need that extra "boost" musically. I had no idea the Poison the Well dude was in this band tho. I am a fan of hxc ha

  • Hahahahahaha, great review Anthony. I absolutely agree on the Brokencyde part.

  • I just seem to enjoy the beats a lot. Don't really listen to the vocals, since i can't hear them that well. But these songs just make me want to party, so that is why I enjoy it.

  • sounds a lot like Atari Teenage Riot to me...

  • @monorascal M.I.A. meets atr meets mbv to me

  • sounds a lot like Atari Teenage Riot to me...

  • I can't stand when people over analyze music. you either like it or you don't.

  • I'm a big opponent to the loudness wars (look it up) and over compression and limiting, but I really found myself liking this album not just for the unabashed rebellion against recording norms, but also for the songs.

  • Just got around to giving this album a whirl. First I'll say that I see why people dig this album so much - soothing vocals on top of LOUD-ass catchy (albeit simple) beats and heavily distorted/whaling guitars. It's catchy and accessible for sho. For me there just wasn't enough there... musically and lyrically... to keep me interested. In a word... uninteresting? The one song I did tap my foot to was Rill Rill and mostly because of their ability to sample someone else's song. 3/10

  • I have a VERY weird reason for liking this album alot, but hear me out. See, I'm a crossdresser, a "trap" if you will. And one of my favorite motiffs to play on is that of the cheerleader, like the ones you see on the album. The moment I heard "Tell 'Em" I was already dancing with feverish energy and spunk, and have since created 5 or so different dances that I have used at shows. "Treats" makes me feel alive and confident as any fraternity alpha male, while still being a fabulous fruity toot.

  • HIPSTER-HOP lmao Exactly. But I like it lol I am a Sleigh Bells fan! i love its loudness and its MIA feel. its different and I like the energy.

  • I like Infinity Guitars, but thats it...

  • the reason i listen to sleigh bells is the same reason as why i listen to rage against the machine. the music's not THAT great, but the energy and passion in it is what does it for me

  • You're right. There's a whole lot of industrial and thinly-disguised hip-hop beats in "Treats." It's very pummeling, accessible, and makes you feel dirty in a way. Sort of reminds me of a Nine Inch Nails meets Dr. Dre as sung (or screamed) by Santigold.

  • I agree that some of the overdrive on everything is noisy, but the lyrics are pop and fun. The delivery of the lyrics reminds a little of MIA or Santa Gold. I do enjoy the nice blend of overdriven guitars over the beats. Some of the tracks do remind me of the old wax trax days and almost like a revamped single gun theory (only slightly). This is merely my opinion but this album almost comes of as an experiment, and it succeeds as that in many ways.

  • I love how he over analyzes everything. He always mentions things I would have never thought of. I love his videos

  • When I listen to sleigh bells I want to hit stuff, but I can't figure out if its in the good way or the bad way.

  • The band is great. You all are just a bunch of fucks that dont know or understand music. Its different and thats why people dont understand. Oh yeah, yeah, this review fucking blows. It needs a better review from a better person.

  • @JetFalco83 someone doesn't just isn't digging a band you like so they automatically don't understand music. I don't care much for sleigh bells. it's SO DIFFERENT i just can't UNDERSTAND IT! please...that's ridiculous man.

  • The band is great. You all are just a bunch of fucks that dont know or understand music. Its different and thats why people dont understand. Oh yeah, yeah, this review fucking blows.

  • @JetFalco83 u understand music bro? pls teach me how 2 'get' music. maybe i'll listen to sleigh bells a lot liek u. hope u will reply with a 'tutorial' so i can go lissen 2 dis 'gr8' music liek underoath and mychemmie romantics and sleigh ells

  • I actually loved the album because of the vocals, the contrast between the harsh guitars and the poppy vocals. Then again, I love music that embraces clashing contrast.

  • I think I like the Sleigh Bells so much because I've never really heard anything like them. Its just so intense. like being punched in the stomach with distortion.

  • You should try to see them in live. Like you, I didn't really get into the album.

But yesterday I changed my mind. I went to Kisses + Sleigh Bells concert in France. And I have to admit that some bands are better in live than in an album ! It's just huge !

  • they have a couple of good songs but the whole album is the same thing except tiney diffrences and ya shes pre shitty at singing but the beats r sick

  • YESTERDAY IS HERE.

  • how about the music is fun? and you're a fucking cocksucker who does reviews nobody gives a shit about? its pretty simple to understand.

  • OMFG i can NAWT take u seriously sis. first u call Kala MIAs worst album and then u compare sleigh bells to brokencyde.... DEAD!!!

  • I can't take you seriously. Treats is a pioneering noise pop album, try taking your head out of your arse and embrace the ballzy-ness of it.

  • I appreciate this review. I like the noise and bass of Sleigh Bells, but man some of the live videos on Youtube...Gahh...kinda shitty. I do like to bump Sleigh Bells in my car though. It's loud as hell!

  • I watched this video a couple months back after I discovered Sleigh Bells.. This video has been an annoying fly in the back of my head since... critics will be critics but theres a different between right and wrong... maybe you dont have enough bass??? This. Shit. Slaps. Also a nice soundtrack in the bedroom. Try that out sometime... Hasta

  • I agree the ablum is annoying but I love how loud it is and I agree on the vocals, the two (vocals and music) don't go hand in hand with me.

  • you seem really cool and i love sleigh bells but i could see my self getting tired of them pretty quick since everyone of there songs is so damn repetitive. but fuck brokencyde in the ass, they suck dick. badddd.

  • rheumatoid arthritis? or are you just prone to moving your limbs in weird/retarted ways?
