@tarkeke you couldn't have picked a worse example. everyone knows naruto and bleach suck as the story progressed, but their are plenty of manga that have been running for a long time and didn't degrade in quality over time. toriko,one piece,beelzebub,gintama, and soul eater, the list goes on.I DONT HATE THE ANIME.Im just saying they shouldn't have ended like that, as it contradicts many elements already set up. if you haven't read the manga, you are missing out something really good.

One piece was good..but I lost interest when I realized that the author already have the ending written down and keeps on adding story elements to make a living, it's driving my patience to a halt. I know...the manga is probably better, but personally I prefer watching the show with music and the japanese va.. by knowing that the manga does a better job, I'd better stay away as it would ruin the anime...:P

The thing Ashura could not understand, was courage. It was something he didn't have, so he could not understand why it drove Maka to keep on fighting. That last punch was only a normal punch, something that was never tried on Ashura before. I would say it was more a mental attack than physical, in other word courage defeated fear = Maka defeated Asura. which was a big theme throughout the series. Bones used that and yeah..I've seen far worse

@dogpile01 you still didn't give me any examples :P also, I've heard that the anime did in fact adjust a lot of the plot elements so that the ending would be more fitting, so it's not like bones didn't know what they were doing...honestly I probably wouldn't watch the remake...1..I hate watching ongoing series 2...It would just feel weird to me watching an altered story. the same goes for fullmetal alchemist. I looove the first anime, and tried to read the manga, but I just couldn't read it

If it was something like Dragon Ball Z and Kai, i can understand they're basically the same thing but Kai shortens all the padding. I would call the original the alter version since that's what the creator wanted the story to be. I understand why they gave the anime the filler ending treatment cuz it was too close to the manga and the manga is like Monthly kinda and knowing the manga is now, the ending didn't do justice

I respect your oppinion and I'm not saying I'm right on this, and you're wrong,but this is how I feel about the anime. Filler is not the right term though, filler is there to buy the manga writer time to make more chapters, this was an alternate ending, not filler.
