  • Why does the horrible Louis Spence have to keep coming up on every video!

  • Absolutely Wonderful....

The early Beatles ows this man a lot of gratitude and respect for borrowing

and using Neil Sedaka´s whole concept when they wrote their hit-songs between

62 and way in to 65. When you hear this song, think of The Beatle-song "From me to you" and you can hear the closeness.

  • Delightful

  • i have nothing but respect for this man

  • I wonder who was he dedicating this song to i believe it was me

  • If you like Neil Sedaka and his magical songs, go ahead and sign the Neil Sedak petition: sedaka.be

  • He is SO cute!

  • how he hits every sinlge note without any effort. Very rarely seen a singer singing more relaxed and perfectly at the same time.

  • hacía tiempo que no la recordaba... y me encanta :D

  • I should've been born in '49, not '89. Screw Lady Gaga and (c)rap. THIS is music, my friends.

  • Fantastic.....

  • I bet he has thought in his life, "HOW THE FUCK DID WE WIND UP WITH THE SHIT WE HAVE TODAY?!?!?!?!? WE WENT FROM CLASSICS LIKE THIS TO THE STUPID CRAP WE HAVE NOW?!?!?!" RAAAAA.

  • @NCOProductions hey theres some pretty good music out there today too. we cant be stuck living in the past :/

  • @himynameisduh haha, PLEASE tell me you're not referring to rap. PLEASE...Haha, I can't stand rap, and I love Rock and metal and country, and to be honest, I do enjoy some trance/techno and I cannot stand rap. I love oldies and swing...And yes, I do agree but hell, the past is soooo good.

  • @NCOProductions I like and appreciate ALL kinds of music because I was brought up listening to a vast variety, thankfully. Rap music, heavy metal and country are my least favourites, but I'm a music lover, not a genre lover, two very different things, so I can find individual pieces in either of those 3 genres and enjoy them still. But "himynameisduh" is right, there is very good music around today, but my personal favourites are from the 60's and 90's, 2 very influential decades in my life.

  • @NCOProductions

    Yes....'Rap' has a silent 'C,' doesn't it?

    I love Neil.

    Thank you.

    Jennie.

  • @Kittielips Yes it sure does and I love him too! (No-homo) And Oldies and Swing. Such awesomeness.

    -Eric :)

  • @NCOProductions

One could swoon over this Man! Doesn't he rock that piano?

    It certainly is awsome...

    Thank you.

    Jennie.

  • @NCOProductions

He can certainly 'rock' that piano, can't he?

Neil is indeed awesome; why; one could almost swoon again!!

    Thank you.

    Jennie.

  • @Kittielips Yeah, he sure can. I only wish I could go back! And thank you for sharing that clip!

  • @NCOProductions

Tha's most welcome; although there are some parts of the past that I wouldn't wish to revisit!!

    Thank you.

    Jennie.

  • @Kittielips Yeah, I totally understand! Just wish the good times came back, I'm sick of society and the population now days. It's saddening.

  • @NCOProductions

    Me too!

We should probably discuss these issues in private!

    Jennie.

  • @NCOProductions, Just imagine: I was thinking the same thing like you, but I want to go only 20 years back. And yeah, the today society is only listening to metal. But in metal there is no inspiration, that's the same like generally music today. The same emotions, always sad emotions. About 10 years, we were free to fly and could live without complications. But from now on, we have to pay bills and pay overhighened taxes to dishonest politicians, greedy bankers and capitalistic big companies.

  • @KillerDreck89 I totally agree. The War on Terror is another questionably thing. I support the men fighting it, not the war itself, but it has to be fought so we don't have to fight it here, so thats inevitable. But the PEOPLE need to run the governemnt, not the assholes there now, and our economy is based, or WAS based on small buisnesses, but those are slowly getting shut down to corporate companies that don't need to shut them down.

  • @NCOProductions Umad Bro?

  • He plays piano very well !!!

  • @stevefp3

He hacks it like a butcher!

  • @schorsch635

    He certainly does, doesn't he?

    Thank you.

    Jennie.

  • because this man and other 50s we have the pure rock!!!!

  • I think its amazing that he is this old but still has the dexterity to play the piano so well

  • That is one of the best songs ever recorded!

  • Damn he looks like one happy feller! Haha! Looks just like he did 40 years ago.

  • he makes me smile:)

  • oh my goodnes! isn't this from that allstate commercial?

lol i always liked this song =]

  • IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII personally think DAMO's version is better. :D Just my humble opinion.

  • doo doo down do bee down down :P

  • Comment removed

  • Wow. I expected him to sound pretty bad, but he's still got it.

  • How many performers can continue to do their act for, what is it now - 50 years? Not only does he still do it, he sounds every bit as good as he always has and still has the dexterity in his hands to be a phenomenal piano player!

  • omg, his pitch has NEVER changed? :L

  • @yootoo222 Yo momma hasnt.

  • Just so awesome!!!

  • great voice :)

  • increible,, me recuerda a charlie brown y snoppie, aunque nunca les escuche una cancion de esta magnitud,, sodulass

  • Incredible.

  • it sounds wonderfull but about the swearing, it's always best to think of others around you who will read your comments, and try keeping them family friendly. thanks so much for your concideration, and keep enjoying this great music ^_^

  • All I can say is "Fuckin' Brilliant"

  • I agree, I love the slow version of this song too

  • Wow, great at the piano, too! :)

  • His voice is STILL amazing to this day. Incredible. I love him. Truly one-of-a kind. =]

  • Fantastic!! :)

  • High low in between voice.... It makes no difference... This incredibly talented man can and does sing, write and entertain at the most original and highest level.

    PERIOD!

Thanks Neil for all the joy you have given so many. Stay healthy and keep on with your brilliant and amazing talent.

  • hes always so happy!

  • Never lost his talent.

  • Classic. I love the classics, they never die.

  • Why is everybody arguing about ages?

Surely it doesn't matter how old any of you are.

I thought the point of youtube was for us to enjoy the videos. :|

  • His voice does not suit his looks at all.

    Cool song though.

  • his looks? what is he supposed to sound like?

you don't e ven knwo him

  • He looks like he should have a deeper voice. He always did.

It doesn't take away from his ability or anything. Why take it so personally?

  • He's never had a deep voice, listen to the original, it's in the same key, and he also sings the high harmony too.

  • I never said he had a deep voice.

I said that he has always looked like he should have a deeper voice than he does.

  • Looks can be deceiving..

  • WTH? I'm not insulting the man. I'm just making an observation. I like the song. I like the dude. What the hell is wrong with saying that I would expect someone who looks like him to have a deeper voice?

Tell me that before you get all pissed off.

This is why I hate Youtube sometimes.

  • he is great

  • i like this video i think this is one of his best songs

COZ I LISTEN TO METAL!.... im a lier in the case of age, but that kid that look up this vid is my brother, guess he forgot to sign out

  • @neovid13 im 14 and neil sedaka and bobby darin r my favourite its nice to no ppl round our age like oldies

  • @benbolam1996 actually, my brother is the one who likes it, just to clarify :) (im more into metal :P) poc4321-his youtube name

  • @neovid13

You've good taste in music. They were doing it for real back then. This was before synthesizers, 32 tracks, equalizers, computers, vocorders, and compressors. You had to get it right in one shot or record the whole thing all over again until you get it right. Now, we can just break it up and record it one section and one voice at a time. Everyone don't have to be in the same studio.

  • For those confused with the lesbian/lebanese situation: Paul Albert Anka, OC (born July 30, 1941 in Ottawa, Ontario) is a Canadian singer, songwriter, and actor of Lebanese origin.[1] He became a naturalized US citizen in 1990.[2]Neil Sedaka was born in Brooklyn, New York on 13 March 1939. His father, Mac Sedaka, a taxi driver, was the son of Turkish-Jewish immigrants; his mother, Eleanor (Appel) Sedaka, was of Polish-Russian Jewish descent.

  • mmmmmmm i think you misread what

i wrote . its Lebanese not lesbian LEBANON is a country !!!!!!!!!

  • your information is wrong ,they dont related to each other ...............the only neil sedaka and paul anka not r
