honeslty you cant complain about their art, just cause its not realistic as the the sky isnt blue, art isnt always about potraying the real world some art dosent want to mimic the real it wants to be appreciated for being art through use of colour and brush-strokes, subject matter and shapes, particular the introduction of photography was a very strong factor of removing realism, why paint something that you can take a photo of? im not a hipster I just like art, its cool!
