  • whoooooooooooo fuuuuck yeaaa

  • just so everyone knows if sopa gets passed we cant watch these anymore, dave community collapses

  • Hehyyyyyyyyyy yeaaaaaaaaa yaaaaaaaaaaaahh huuhuuuum! ... classic

  • I don't care how old or new, this Man is amazing....I got hooked on DMB with just this, a Dave & Tim concert! Didn't know anything about them, it was a first date with my ex-husband! I didn't get to see the whole band for 3 years, when I saw them I was so full of happiness and joy, I cried!! I have now seen them 48 times all over the country! Thankyou DMB, thankyou ex-husband, thankyou for all of the people that are just like me!!

  • heaven's music

  • this!! fell from the hands of angels.

  • WHY IS THERE ALWAYS SOMEONE WHO DISLIKES HEAVIN!!!

  • Dave Matthews, Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, BB King, Louis Armstrong, Johannes Brahms, Fredrick Chopin, etc...these people were/are geniuses of a different order. Unlike the rest of us, they will live forever.

  • Out of this world!

  • why didnt they do this at radio city?!

  • nice video! 1999 what a great year!

  • Wild Think interpolation :eek

  • that intro haunts me, in a good way

  • @Connorchaos ...sounds like he's speaking in tongues or something

  • why do people dislike this? if the title is "Dave and Tim Warehouse" then it shouldn't be a surprise what the video will be. If you don't like this then don't watch it.

  • @cbradio11 how are you supposed to know if you like it or not if you dont watch the video?? you make it sound like nobody can check out videos they havent seen and actually NOT like it. Grow up.YouTube is getting full of twats like you.

  • Holy SHIT...Goosebumps much?!

  • Tim sounds like the bass

  • nice camera work considering the circumstances. Unbelievably enjoyable

  • At 1:42 Dave is like screaming to god so sick

  • this just pure genius...

  • feb 19, my b day should of been there

  • this is just incredible. absolutely incredible. dave needs to leave the brass out of his band and just stick with tim and maybe a drummer every now and then.

  • @Jerlemi2 you probably have no idea how disrespectful your comment is

  • @is33you01 ummm.....sorry if i dont like brass dipshit

  • @Jerlemi2 ..."dipshit"? That's what I get for great expectations. If you're mental acuity is adequate enough, please look up LeRoi Moore in your spare time.

Anyhow, it ends here for me. Babble on if you like.

  • Is anyone here from Winner sd? I play a lot of DMB and want someone to Jam Dave With!!!

  • @splitspades

    hahaha def! wow!

  • acoustic music at its best!!!

  • HAHAHA i knew it. this is warehosue from lost acoustics volume 3. good stuff.

  • sorry but this is definitely not the lost acoustics version. listen to the in- and outro, they're quite different. dave does not improv lyrics before the "that my blood down there" part either

  • Intro sounds super tribal, maybe a touch of Dave's South African backround comin out

  • Tmmy on the martin d-35 and Dave on the Hd-28v both amazign gutiars

  • There is no way that this song was influenced by Into the Wild. This is back in 1999. The movie came out in 2007.

  • yeah but the book came out in the 80s bro, so even if it isnt, it still is a possiblitly that is was.

  • @michaelfeldman91 you're right, i forgot about the book. Thanks for catching that.

  • its the passion intro from peter gabriel

  • wow

  • loved it ! =)

  • Love when he hits the bad note and laughs it off.. that song is so hard to play just like all his songs. Good stuff though

  • He makes a mistake at 6:35. It is a harmless errata.

  • tim is the one who makes the mistake

  • timmy doesnt mess up he meant to hit those notes

  • hands down...favorite version. i never heard him add "wild thing" cover song in this one. so goood.

  • anyone know the tab for the chord dave holds for the passion intro?

  • its just 7 on low e and 9 on a string mute the rest

  • power chord on 7

  • *LOL* Hear him hit that bad note at 6:35 and then smile about it..... now that's music!!!!

  • that paert tim plays in this vid &tinsley plays on the violin is sick. ny1 kno the tab?

  • tim looks very scary here.... i would have shot him and hung him on my wall!

  • hahahh that would be really funny

  • WTF?

  • Why does this sound so bassy?

  • this music is a drug, and Dave is a really good dealer. He always got more for you.

  • ha ha ha good one!

  • @computercanada, an amazing drug that needs no rehab!

  • @computercanada yeah but its always the same thing anymore =[

  • @computercanada speaking of "drugs" (medicine in this case), did you know that Dave attributes much of his success to the ingestion of the cubensis mushroom?

  • one of the best intros ive ever heard

  • Wild Thing!

  • THIS SONG IS SO GOOD!!!!!!

I LOVE THE TRIBAL INTRO HERE, it makes the feel so deep and almost deadly, but still draws you in, like when you know something seriously dangerous is about to happen but you can look away... LOVE DAVES MUSIC

  • Tim screws up near 6:35 look at daves face lol

  • TIM MESSED UP!!!! NO WAY!!!! Haha, wow did somebody throw a cat at him or something? That never happens.

  • I wouldnt say cat, I would say coke, but not cat.

  • haha, it's so obvious too

  • haha, nice catch. Dave's reaction is priceless!

  • lol that was funny -11!

  • I love this video, but I swear Tim looks like Neil Young here,,, hair & head bobbing, this is Prime!!!

  • Dave is the definition of prime. It's always been the best and will continue to be.

  • Prime.

  • Dave at his best!!Wish he could get back to those days!!

  • hey now whats wrong with Dave now?

    Hes still amazing.

  • dude... ya

  • I saw him at the Verizon Wireless outdoor theater Indianapolis last year. He's still got it.

  • I finnally get to see my first DMB show this April at the charlotte verizon amphitheater.

  • me too!

  • another show there last night!!!

  • My last and tenth dmb show was in 02, I too miss those days. I'm just happy I got to see them live so many times in their prime.

  • i love hearing the crowd get as excited as i do listening to him!

  • Chanting monks...

  • woah, it does sound like that.... that's fantastic. I'm glad you pointed that out!

  • this is totaly amazing... best artist i have never seen

  • wild thing

  • wow, check out timmy's doo. seen him a couple times and never knew it was that long...hippie. lol

  • reminiscent of neil young...

  • Passion!

  • omfg. i love this intro so much. that type of stuff is exactly why i love dave.

  • nice

  • holy christ, before timmy got famous for l@lc. amazing.

  • L@LC was actually released exactly 1 month prior to this video. It was recorded in February of 1996 and released January 19th, 1999.

  • i love the glance he gives tim when he hits that sour note at 6:34. guys amazing.

  • fuckin epic.

  • wow enough said

  • This music really touch my heart...Does anyone have the version of Luther College? It´s the best version ever and I can´t find it... If anyone knows, please pass me the link! Thanks!

  • Live at Luther College is a 2-disc set you can buy. It's a navy/royal blue cover.

  • stores have a copy. also itunes. also there's many torrents you can download. limewire too but thats for ppl who don't know how to properly download music.

  • i think tim might of messed up on purpose cause they go into wild thing

  • i love a good passion intro

  • i wish they would bring the passion intro back. it is surreal.

  • couldn't have said it any better myself bro

  • I love Dave.

  • pure Dave...

  • This is not a bad version,

But the warehouse of Luther College version just fucking outweighs all the other versions. It is almost surreal.

  • chord miss at 6:36 Dave looks at him!

    Mark

  • I'm thinkin i can't really hear Tim at all ?

  • Lazyhippi doesnt have ears

  • or maybe i'm thinking too loud ?

  • congrats?

  • i figured it would be takin that way :)

I qwas actually being self critical

ya i can totally hear Tim, though if the recorder was in a better location i think the sound quality would be better balanced ...

    still it sounds rul good.

  • soooo trippy

  • anyone who likes this should check out Dillon Campbell...

  • i'm gonna see these bitches in hawaii next month at the kokua festival wit jack johnson.... can't fuckin' wait!

  • no way dude, that's badass...how much was a ticket?

  • originally 50, but i had to get 'em from stubhub for 150 a pop! fuckin sucks but it'll be worth it

  • yeah it is..I go to IU so i lucked out and saw them for free Sunday

  • i 'read da' in step into the light the biography.

  • actually the warehouse is a large pink apartment building in charlottesville in which dave lived for a time while working at miller's. it was a converted warehouse and the song is about his time in the warehouse, where he did alot of songwriting.

  • i think the warehouse is our mind - whats going on between our ears. whatever it sounds great - makes my problems seem smaller

  • Going to see Dave and Tim in April in Seattle...first acoustic Dave show for me!

  • Enjoy yourself you lucky bastard.

Get ready to have your mind blown, they're amazing...saw them front row in Mt Clemens MI in 2003. Hands down the best Dave show I've ever seen...except maybe Dave and Friends at Bonnaroo

  • It seams to me the warehouse is the room we don't want to go back to. The dark room. The one we don't have the key. And as best we try to understand life, we are afraid of that room. The problem is, that particular room, of all the shit we put in to it, grows so big we can't control it anymore. It becomes aware. Like karma. Like the warehouse. So bear and empty! and then...We don't have the chance anymore to change it by ourselves. We wait for someone else to help us. The loved ones...maybe???

  • He hits a wrong note at 6:34. He just looks over at Tim. lol

  • I saw that. It was cute. Thanks for pointing it out.

  • Dave is one the teachers I've never had!

  • Whoa, this was recorded on my birthday!

  • your 9 years old?

  • Lol he probably means the month.

  • *day

  • what i love is that dave has a cult audience he doesnt change his style for anyone he stays the same for him and his faithful fans, thats why he is one of the greatest of our time but isnt recognized by most

  • I like the fact he isnt a hypocrite....doesnt say help the poor and then chant bling bling in the faces of those that struggle...like Marley legend..God blesses altruism...all real lessons are learned through humilty..humility never ascertained painlessly.

  • listen to that voice man. thats enough right there. incredible

  • It sounds like how he first started 'Bartender' on the Dave and Tim at Studio City CD.

  • i love the way dave starts this version of warehouse, its the shit!

  • Dave fucking Matthews.

  • Best EVER! Dave & Tim-Warehouse. Best song Ever!!! It takes me in, out, up and down...to earth!~ The planet I love the most, but I'll fade away,... and diiiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeee!

  • waht is funny is that we can see the diamond unpolished, here we see that his younger , even in the performance, today is away from this artist issues, is full grown , and it keeps growing, the world will bend at his knees, for sure.... Tim is the buddha of the guitar, this guys met in earth like they know themselves for centuries.

  • huh?

  • Indeed! Dave is an old soul. Nobody can deny it. But very few knows about it. Very deep comment. Thanks!

  • Like they know themselves in heaven!

  • thank you!

  • Are there words for how amazing this is. I don't think so.

  • AGREED

  • intro best ever, chills. beautiful. amazing.

  • great vid, i love the look dave gives tim at 6:35... i've been known to hit a flat note or two in my time.

  • There is no one like Dave. Damn. And its so awesome he knows other amazing musicians.

  • lol tim's hair.

  • me also on that dvd request..would be awesome if there is a way to do it...dave is god
