one of the reasons why this isn't as good as the original is cuz the backing band sounds emotionless cuz they arent a real band like Aerosmith. this guy does a really good job with his vocals, but the backing music just sounds wayyyy too happy, probably cuz it's so staccato, and it's too fast.
but his vocals are pretty damn good. i just wish there was a different band backing him, cuz these guys obviously missed the feeling of the song.

i love this, moves me to tears. that was the best season in idol history simply because of the existence of this phenomenal performer. he was the idol everyone got to know really well, his were the facial expressions and the hand gestures that reflect vulnerability and artistry. he commanded the stage like no other idol. he was a walking piece of art. he was like us, but extraordinary. yup, phenomenal.

To the person that put this together, I have one word; AWESOME!!!!!!!!! I love all the extra footage of David with the other "Idols" and the places he went. Everything is just so cool and to finish it with Aerosmith's piano ending was an extremely nice touch. I just can't say a bad thing about this. I LOVE IT!!!!! It's on my ipod by tonight!

I am squalling my eyes out. One of my fave songs of all times. Steven Tyler and Aerosmith are legendary and David Cook is amazing, brilliant, humble. The only AI contestant I have ever seen that NEVER had even one performance that was not great. This was an absolutely beautiful video! WTG (sniff,sniff)

I wish david cook lost to archuletta. that way he wouldnt have to follow that bullshit american idol contract so he can do all his stuff his way. just like adam lambert. he may have lost to kris allen but adam is now a god, and kris allen is nothing but a ghost

@MUTEGIO36 Kris allen is a ghost? I hear his song on the radio all the time. Its pretty popular. I hear adam alot too though, but everytime I turn on the radio I hear live like were dying.

To the person that put this together, I have one word; AWESOME!!!!!!!!! I love all the extra footage of David with the other "Idols" and the places he went. Everything is just so cool and to finish it with Aerosmith's piano ending was an extremely nice touch. I just can't say a bad thing about this. I LOVE IT!!!!! It's on my ipod by tonight!
