  • dont ever compare a iphone with samsung we all know iphone is better.....and the samsung is not slow you just have to many apps downloaded on it i love my samsung intercept its not slow at all and the touch screen works fast...

  • i think the samsung intercept screen was better than that iphone mabey not the iphone 4 s or 4 but that one yes

  • @faith123222 you're fucking crazy.

  • @TVwatchU your mama is fucking crazy

  • the radio shack in my area still sells the $25 plan cards so does that mean i can stikl use it?

  • Hahaha I see u

  • Cracking up about the stealing identity part

  • @BrittanyRB20 Thanks!

  • so if i have the $25 plan can i switch to this phone and still only pay $25?

VM said that I have to pay $10 extra, but I figure if i switch the phones manually they wont catch the switch.

  • @acmav289 I don't know. I would think that if you just switch the SIM card to a new phone without telling them, you'd still be paying $25 a month.

  • @acmav289 i juss switch fones wht u do is call 1 888 322 1122 and hit activate fone then hit 0 like six times then when the machine talks again hit 0 agin like six times he will send you to a human then tell them you want to switch fones but tell them they sent you the fone as a replacement fone the ll ask yu for a number like the serial number give it to them and they ll switch it it will b like 4 hurs for yur 3g to work but make sure u tell them it s a replacement

  • ANSWER PLEASE!!! Can u text to mexico with the 35 $ plan!!!?

  • @ReyesCR7 Not for free. They will charge extra for that. The plan is only for USA use.

  • Ive got the 25$ a month mwhahaha YES

  • Dude, you tapped way to late on the screen (Angry Birds).....Learn to play

  • dude your "speed test" with angry birds was HORRIBLE you did not press the app at the same time so that is an unfair "speed test"

  • when you switch phones does ur current plan switch too like if i have 10 more days til i have to pay for a new month will that go to my new phone or do i have to top up when i get a new phone?

  • @DontForgetTheJ If you're switching to a different company, you can't take your minutes with you. If you're already with Virgin Mobile, you'll have to ask them if you can get a refund for unused minutes on your current plan.

  • stop whining, I have samsung Intercept and i love it

  • I guess this video was insightful. But I didn't like the fact of how you keep going off topic.

  • if you cant see small text there's something called zoom in and zoom out

  • @Rasheenification True, but if you have to zoom in on every page because the resolution is crappy, it's no good. On the iPhone you don't need to zoom to read the text on the same web page.

  • the only thing i liked about this phone was the speaker

  • Jeez ok man im looking at the Samsung Restore. is it a good phone?

  • @ThePickledick101 There are a bunch of reviews of the Samsung Restore online. People say it's great for phoning and texting, but not so great for internet use. They don't consider it a smartphone.

  • it says 35 in the title and you say 25.. Which is it Please message me im getting my plan tammarow i need to know! (: thanks

  • @ThePickledick101 It used to be $25, but they raised the price to $35 for new subscribers. Because I got in when it was $25, my price stays at $25, but anyone new buying the same plan has to bay $35 a month.

  • @hoohoohoblin hey can i use online to put some minutes on my phone??? and can what website is it??? can u tell me how you make it to unli text and web thanks reply ASAP

  • @edwinicka My phone service is with Virgin mobile. You can go to their website to see what plans they offer. The phone in the video is $35 a month for 300 minutes of talk and unlimited text and internet. They have more expensive plans which give you more minutes of talk time.

  • dude you need to update your phone manually i did it in 7 minutes and its easy you just need a computer a sd card sd card adapter and search on youtube how to install android 2.2 on samsng intercept them boom THERE YOU GO

  • Hahaha iPhone people make me laugh who cares if you have a built in iPod ? That's apple and apple sucks and androids have and will always have more memory the androids have bigger screens better UI better capabilty and always will and some have 2 processing units and iPhone well they have one 1 GhZ processor how much more low-tech can you possibly get ??? Now instead of being average iPhone idiots someone come up with an argument that has specs involved instead of calling me names like a 2 year

  • I have the IPHONE 4 it has a front facing camera with fully functional video chat on SKYPE plus it has a built in IPOD that will save thousands of songs so I have no need for external memory. The ANDROIDS need external memory because their OS and MEMORY can't handle alot of data or save much memory without AUTOMATICALLY turning off.

  • why compare a high end phone with a pice of shit.

  • @mrIpodmagic Good question. The answer is that Samsung and Virgin are advertising it as being fantastic, amazing, and able to do everything the iPhone does. I wanted to show how it really works. It is better since being upgraded to Android 2.2, but nowhere near as good as an iPhone. Still, for 25 bucks a month, it does the job for me.

  • Nice review yes that phone is junk.I do have a very nice Android phone from virgin mobile it's called the Triumph.4.1 inch display 5mp camera and a VGA front camera for video chat it's a very fast phone you may want to look into getting one.

  • ok so have a question i just got this phone on tuesday and when people send me pictures i can get them but when someone sends me a video i dont know how to see it? it shows me i got a new message but it wont show me a video.. what am i doing wrong? please help!

  • @manysgurl89 What version of Android do you have on the phone? Mine came with 2.1, which was terrible, and it works a lot better now that it has been upgraded to 2.2. When someone sends me a video in a text message, I see a play symbol. I click it, and it shows me the video. Go to settings and click About Phone. Scroll down to see if you have Version 2.2.2. If you don't, click System Updates to check for an update to install.

  • @hoohoohoblin ok i looked and i do have 2.2.2 so idk whats wrong with it.. if i send a video to myself it will show up in my messages with a play button but if someone else sends me a video there no play button.. only their name shows

  • @manysgurl89

If you have Virgin Mobile, you will not be able to open any video messages. I just got off the phone with them and they had told me that their phones do not support video messages. What a bunch of crap that is

  • @ggringa3 really!!! wow thats dumb! ugh! but thanks for the info

  • booo gay i was going to get VM but they knw have the 35$ a month the 25$ a month was better for just 40$ metro pcs gots unlimited talk web and text VM made bad move aka a no no

  • I pay $25 a month but i want to get a new phone, do i have to resubscribe and pay $35/month or just switch phones and pay $25/month? any help please

  • @LXMETAL13 Good question. I don't know the answer. You should call Virgin Mobile and ask. They'll probably let you stay at $25. When you find out, post the answer here. Thanks.

  • @hoohoohoblin

    Thank you

  • @LXMETAL13 your 25 dollars will go to the new phone too as I have change phones and I have a link in my cell phone that says not the plan you are looking for and i have access to 25, 40,. and 60 plans.

the unlimited talk unlimited data is 5 bucks cheaper now

  • @LXMETAL13 No

  • @LXMETAL13 where do you pay the $25?

  • @AandresHernandezZ

I pay that as my monthly bill because I signed up with virgin mobile when the plans started at $25

  • @LXMETAL13 just swamp phones, you still paying the $25, but if you decide to pay the $35 will be better because everything is unlimited, media, texting, minutes, is just a great service. good luck! =)

  • Use my kickback code to get more min when you activate eDwTJ9OV

  • i pay 25 a month and ive been with vm for a yr. i dont half to pay 35 a month

  • @Zendayalover44 Correct! I still pay $25 as well. Anyone who signed up with Virgin Mobile when it was $25 a month gets to keep paying the $25 a month. New subscribers have to pay $35 a month for the same plan.

  • @hoohoohoblin what if im bout to get a new phone but ive been wif them for a year i hope i dont have to pay 35

  • Thumbs Up, If you like to play stupid games!

  • i was new to virgin mobile and i pay 25 only

  • @411DESHAWN I just checked the Virgin Mobile website, and they now only list $35, $45, and $55 plans. It looks like you signed up just in time.

  • I think your not giving it credit. Just fucking it over. I mean, i think you would be lucky to have this phone for 25$ a month! What do you expect?

And you launched the apps at a different time. Not fair test.

  • @starstuckedzzxz I expected it to work better, which it did after I upgraded it to Android 2.2. It was terrible before that. Now it's fine.

  • I HAVE IT TOO BUT THE ONLY THING I DO NOT LIKE IS THAT IT CAN NOT BE USE LIKE A HOTSPOT

  • So thats a front face camera?

  • @harajukurockstar1 It has one camera on the back of the phone. That's the side of the phone that doesn't have the touch screen on it.

  • @hoohoohoblin i saw skype so thats what made me think that

  • Everyone is saying that virgin is going to increase their plan from $25 a month to $35, is that true?

  • @JeffSwan1 I just looked around on the internet, and you're right. It's increasing to $35 a month for new subscribers. People who signed up when it was $25 will continue to pay $25 a month for their phones.

  • @lotUsCherry27 I'm happy with Virgin now. The phone was terrible when I got it. It had Android version 2.1 on it. After a few months, Virgin upgraded me to Android 2.2, and the phone works the way it should now. I think Samsung invented the phone to work with 2.2, but Virgin shipped it with 2.1 instead.

  • 6:38.. hahaa funny lol ..

  • just so you know, The optumus is way better than the intercept

  • @kx65fast The optimus may be better. The Intercept works much, much better after being upgraded to Android 2.2. I actually like it a lot now. It's a good deal for $25 a month.

  • this dude probley dropped the android because my android from virgin mobile works fine and ive hand it for about four years.and one no im not saying that the iphone is bad because it is a great phone.

  • Why would you compare an iphone ios with a android ios thats not fair lol of course iphones better

  • @xDproxDreviews The Samsung has a faster processor than the original iPhone, so I thought it would run faster and work better, but it doesn't. The Samsung touch screen is nowhere near as good as the iPhone, and the resolution is worse than the iPhone. iPhone 1 wins this challenge on everything but price.

  • @xDproxDreviews

silly mac people Android is not "Android ios" its Android os (operating system) -sigh-

  • Great review. I wish there was a way to get around the extremely slow boot-up process.

  • @fabmd8 Me too, and I wish it wouldn't say "Virgin Mobile!" really loud when you turn it off or on. I hope the Android 2.2 update makes everything faster. It has a faster processor than the iPhone, so it should run well with newer software. I'm still waiting for them to push 2.2 update to my phone. They announced it a month ago.

  • how is the receptions in the mountains or city?

  • @isurfu2ube Reception is as good as I had with other phone carriers, and the phone works fine wherever I go.

  • I can play 3d games on my samsung intercep 2.2 .and I don't have any problem playing angry birds or fruit ninja for example.

  • @alienmonkey69 That's good to know. It runs like crap with Android 2.1. I heard that Virgin is pushing the update out to their users, but my phone still says it is up to date and won't go get 2.2, and it still is frustrating to use. When or if they finally deliver 2.2 to my phone I'll put some comments on the video to say how it improved things.

  • the intercept is a low end budget phone..the iphone is a high end expensive phone

  • very detailed review.... good job!!!

  • @extremebiker2005 Thanks. I want people to know what they're getting before they buy the phone. I'm hoping for better performance and battery life when Virgin Mobile pushes the Android 2.2 update to the phone, but they haven't done it yet. It's supposed to happen soon.

  • copy right there's over 90,000 people in youtube that use copyyright

  • Does intercept support flash content?

  • @bboyzen1 Not yet. It runs Android 2.1. Google claims that Android version 2.2 will support flash, but it is up to Virgin Mobile to push the upgrades out to their customers, and they haven't done it yet. There is a way to hack into the phone and do it yourself, but I am going to wait for the official upgrade. I hope it makes the phone less crappy and frustrating to use.

  • optimus v is much more better than intercept,, im using it right now and i don't have any problem with it so far

  • @33borislam On the 25th the intercept is getting 2.2 so good luck with that phone.

  • @sasuke1112233 alright, good luck with the intercept too. In case you didn't know,, the optimus v has a better cpu, larger memory, and a gpu which the intercept didn't has it. Optimus has a better resolution than the intercept and also double size of the memory comparing to the intercept. well, if you did some research, then you would know which one is better,, by the way,, good luck with yours....

  • @33borislam Thanks. I'm hoping that people who are doing their research will find my review of the Intercept and realize how crappy it is so they don't end up buying one. Good news is that Virgin Mobile has a month-to-month contract, so I can quit without penalty. It's also only $25 a month and works reasonably well as a phone and texting tool.

  • @hoohoohoblin It's Not Crappy After the Update.

The One I Have Right Now.

  • My kickback code is VYQNGNVP add this within the first 45 hours of activation with and top up at least $20 into your account and we both get 60 free minutes.

  • here is a code to get 60 minutes free. when u activate a new virgin mobile phone RYF9MHLc

  • THATS UNFAIR YOU CLICKED ANGRY BIRDS ON THE iPHONE FIRST WTF!!?!? LOL =P

  • Riot or revolution, lol!

  • @claranormaldotcom I know! I was at a really cool revolution last week, but I'm still trying to upload the video from my stupid Samsung phone, so no one knows about it yet. I hope the Android operating system update fixes the problem... whenever Virgin Mobile gets around to pushing it out to their customers.

  • you sound like my art teacher Klee Miller

  • *** Pissed off that VMU has taken away your 'Unlimited' Internet' ***,

or screwed you over like they did me? Well contact the Director of Customer Service at VMU, his name is Dennis, and his email is: Dennis.Weikle@sprint.com then contact your state attorney general and tell them to file a suit against Sprint / VMU / Boost for violating business and FCC laws.

  • Thank you for that review. I'm thinking about buying the samsung myself, and it helped me get a better sense of what I'm getting in terms of monthly charges.

  • @lillarkin524 You're welcome. I'm hoping the Samsung Intercept phone becomes faster and more reliable whenever Virgin decides to put out the Android 2.2 update for it. They do have one other Android phone available now. I'm not sure if it's better or worse. It has no keyboard and it costs less than the Samsung intercept.

  • @hoohoohoblin optimus v has a 600ghz lg optimus is 800ghz sooo lg is better lol has this phone ever rang when its on silence cause it did when i was in school teacher was like turn it off scared me lol

  • Great review man.

  • @MARQ3Lheat Thanks. I think people should know exactly what they're getting before buying this phone.
