  • All of your time lapses are simply just breathtaking. can't wait tom see your future videos

  • Very nice timelapse! I see that you covered your DSLR's with a plastic bag - do you fix this bag at the lens? What is about the lense - how can I prevent it of fogging?

  • i am simply a fan of your work .. i would like to know more about the equipment that you used in it . my expertise.. 550D (T2i) , 600D (T3i)

  • Well done behind the scenes.. Do you need a really dark place to do night timelapes? I mean how dark was the place at the time you shot this behind scenes? I enjoyed watching all of your videos.

  • @ahmaltalib It was real dark, it was a new moon so only star light. A led lantern lit up the foreground.

  • Amazing. What a tease I can't wait to see more!! :)

  • Beautiful, but very little of that beauty :) Love & Peace

  • what is that red light?

  • @martyn347 The led on the camera comes on when it's writing to the cf card.

  • looking forward to see the new clip..

  • Do you use the in-camera setting for long exposure noise reduction?

  • @jameswalt1 I have that turned off in the camera

  • @dakotalapse I did a night timelapse (long exposure) with my 60d and had tons of noise (red and blue dots. What do you think I could do to prevent that?

  • @jameswalt1 What settings?

  • @dakotalapse settings you gave me before: 2.8 aperture (11-16 tokina), 1600 iso, 30 second shutter

  • @jameswalt1 Did you shoot RAW? Not sure where you shot it, but light pollution can make noise show up more also. Other than that, I don't know. I haven't seen red and blue noise before on mine.

  • I cannot wait to see the full video!

  • Dual sliders? You're rockin' man.

  • also, what is the brand of the slider?

  • @s1mpl3k1d Stage Zero from Dynamic Perception, link is in description

  • dakotalapse, I don't have ultra wide lens and I am liking the Sigma 10-20mm f4-5.6. As long as I increase ISO, I should be fine right?

    BTW, awesome video!!!

  • @s1mpl3k1d I haven't tried that lens, but there is a big difference going from F3.5 to F2.8. So an F4 might be kind of dark for Astro.

  • Beautiful as always.

I hate when people ask these questions, but I'm curious as to what your settings were. Seems like maybe your ISO was a little high - over 640?

  • @jsdigital ISO was 6400 on all 3 cameras and 30 second exposures.

  • Awesome !!
