@yoshiki356 J-Rock isn't a genre. It's a loosely collective term describing Japanese musicians. It's nothing more than a label and has no real influence on genre. The only thing is does divide is the cheaply manufactured bubblegum-esque pop (J-pop) and artists who have more creative input into their music (J-Rock). X Japan were in several genre's of metal no matter how you look at it. They're music evolved and stylistically grew out of other genres but the same is still true.

hmm i think that the reason he did it the way he did, is because it's like it continues building, then going back to simplicity finally at that moment rather than dissipating the energy is released in a beautiful manner just my opinion :D
