  • Catch and break off....permanently

  • Se ola telia h ellada mas alla me auta pou ginonte tora kseftilizomaste !!!!

  • 1:23 is a 2 birds with 1 stone Pain in Arm and Fart in Face.

    OOORR

    Kiss my Ass!

  • hmmm i could use this

  • That throw is slightly off. Use your bicep to grip the upper arm of the opponent. My Olympic Judo and National Pankration Coach taught me this.

  • u cant find nythin b/w there legs

  • 1:45 it's difficult as hell, your opponent can kick you in the balls

  • @cmorenor89 its not...

  • there is so much RAGE in these animations.....

  • double leg take downs really don't hurt... they get done to me at mma training all the time.. no real person just lands full force on their back

  • and u had me on the floor and breakin my arm like that with ur nutts all in my face. u wouldnt be able to have kids anymore

  • See real people dont just stand there and got kicked.

  • THis Is

    MADNESSSS!

  • hahahahahahah look at 0040 to 00:43

  • now this is done oiled up and but naked in other words your ball sack is in your opponents face at all time , yeah ancient Greeks were hardcore

  • teep kick

  • its this the grab move from paul of tekken? =)

  • Why is the silver guy always beating on the black guy? hahaha

  • But don't you have to be like the same size or bigger than you're opponent to do these throws...like what do you do if you're smaller? Or can it still work in the same way?

  • @lattask8er For the double leg lift, yes. That's basically a body slam, and you have to be fairly strong to pull that off against a big opponent. For the ippon seoi nage (the one where he throws the other over his back), though, almost no strength is required. However, in a real fight, you need to get the bigger opponent moving/off balance before you can throw that. It's difficult, but when done well, it requires almost no effort.

  • Anyone else notice the unbelievably obvious homoeroticism in the last frame of the video?

  • that's a double leg lift not a double leg takedown

  • i would'nt take bets against the silver guy

  • 1:40 Go for a ball kick too!

  • i dont wanna fight a silver guy :'(

  • that punch at 0:40

  • Whats scary its the fact that this martial art was concieved by Greeks with also some use of Mathematics and laws of physics! Everything move is mathematically certain to deliver the highest damage to the enemy if done right!

  • who else watched 0:40 and thought wtf, 3500lb on head not enough, u still have to bang him even when hes paralised lol

  • 1:18

i dont mind a girl pulling that move on me ;)

  • @th0i what if she's a fat girl, with gonorrhea

  • @guerra6726

    even better ;)

  • 0:40 lol :DDD

  • These computer generated clips are from a documentary series that aired for a while on the History Channel by the name of "Human Weapon". They're good. If you get a chance, Try looking for it

  • @Rikk1825

They do get a lot of things wrong or mistaken in the show, though, so you have to take it with a grain of salt, heheh.

  • @SirKickz Well, they have little time to train...

  • @AlexLococo

Oh, I'm not saying they aren't good guys or legit martial artists, but because they only train for a measly week in each art, they often misinterpret the techniques they learn, so you can't really rely on them for accurate information concerning foreign martial arts.

  • @SirKickz True, so you'll need to relyy in the local fighters. c;

    Well, that's what I do. =P

However I do admire them how fast they learn, either poorly or richly, for their little time they have.

  • A lot of this is also Judo

  • Pankration is the only Greek martial art...makes me wonder if they knew that when they made the 300 movie...

  • thumbs up if you would shit urself if one of these gray guys wanted to fight u

  • Pankration is the allfather of MMA and Vale Tudo. Wonderfull stuff.

  • @benandfreinds but thats in muay thai, in other arts its called a leg jab, teep kick etc. Theres different names dude.

  • 1:23 i see <.<

  • in muay thai we call that the push kick. not the gastreeechiann?

  • @benandfreinds same thing different name

  • Tomorow i am gonna ask my Friend to hold a Baseball bat and i am going to do this to it

  • pankration = jiu jitsu copycats....

  • @cyrax622 its from ancient Greece, you fucktard

  • @cyrax622 pankration is over 10 thousand years old!

  • @cyrax622 bjj=pankration copycats. And tell me do you do a martial art expect bjj(if you do bjj) ,mma maybe? Guess what mma is.

  • shoulder throw looks like judo throw seoi nage

  • @enkhbattsenguun that is because seoi nage translates in English to shoulder throw

  • y si te muerde las bolas?

  • Didn't know Pankration had kicks

  • guys without penises :D

  • I did this to my friend while he was in a wash room. I kicked his door down, cuase he took my stuff.

  • Shit, i done this today, winded him completely,

  • @specialforces69 look bro jus so u know i wasnt tryin to argue with anyone ok i was jus tryin to say that some of these moves under the right circumstances (forgive me if i spelled it wrong im a little punchy in the words of rocky balboa lol) can work maybe not all the time but sometimes an yes i see ur point about the naruto thing i guess i really should get around to changin it p.s my next fight is the 26th i'll make sure i get around to postin it up for u guys

  • @specialforces69 so because i cant spell that well it automatically means i dont do it hmmm yea that makes total sense and yes i have one vid of me on youtube it me when i first started im a big ass noob in the vid but we all have to start somewhere an no i do not still watch naruto i moved to myspace and facebook i jus recently started coming back to youtube and havent changed it the vid is mamas basement my kung fu is good

  • @specialforces69 once again as with the other guy ive been doin mma (greck roman wrestlin, pankration, kick boxin, judo, juijitsu, and sambo) since i was fifteen ok im 5-1 as an ametuer an 2-1 as a pro me likin an anime has nothin to do with my thought process on these moves an once again i never said all of them work or even work most of the time but me bein a fighter u learn certain moves only work if u CAN make ur opponent make a mistake and that means fightin for mor than 30 sec an quittin

  • who said its MMA?????????I'm a greek and i can say thbat its the martial art that ancient greeks used to fight with the wild animals!its called ΠΑΓΚΡΑΤΙΟ in greece ;)

  • If your opponent is worth a damn he's not going to get into the wide open position these guys are in and then wait for you to make moves on him.

  • Uhh the double leg and shoulder throw work for me

  • Scary

  • this shit is nearly impossible to do in a real fight, and i guarentee all the little kids are gonna try it and look like idiots

  • @Jmyster4 in a regular old street fight yes that only being because when most people get into a street fight there so freakin mad they cant see straight but ive used a couple of those moves in a REAL fight and they are fight enders but there also life enders if you dont know how to do them without killin your opponent but for the most part its fun to watch people epic fail at these simple moves

  • @mymixedmartialarts51 buddy ur profile background is naruto, im sorry but i can't take u seriously, and i've been in fights myself, and it has nothing to do with being mad, it has something to do with the fact that the other guy doesn't just stand in the perfect position to let u do any of this shit

  • @Jmyster4 me likin an anime makes no deference but ive been doin mma since i was 15 and if u recall i never said it ALL works i said some if it works yes ur right a person doesnt always stand in the position u want them to but as a fighter its up to us/me to make them get in the position i need them in an yes BUDDY anger has a lot to do with a fight if ur seein red an u want take my head ur much easier to fight

  • there is a simple way to counter the move at 1:35..... just tickle his leg!! he will immediately let go of the lock!!

  • THIS IS SPARTA!

  • 0:41-0:42

    fap fap

  • Wasn't a big fan of pankration before this show

  • nice moves

  • When I was young and got really pissed I think I did a gastrizein to a wooden door... and it put a hole to the door.

  • This guy must have trained at cobra kai, no mercy for the weak, finish him!

  • at 0:40 .. i love the punches they added in xD

  • damn...grey guys are ripped!!

  • the shoulder lock is basicly a arm triangle

  • this is sparta much

  • We need one about the Sparta Kick.

  • Comment removed

  • If I remember my ancient Greek history correctly, non-competitive pankration was practiced in the nude. Have fun picturing that.

  • 300 was a great movie. But nerd culture is pissing me off with it's "This is Spartaaaa!" crap. Did you know, that there was a whole movie, not just that two minutes. fucking retards.

  • @monkeysdude2 its becuase it was the most famous line in the movie. Just like in the movie sparticus, "I am sparicus," you here that line all the time.

  • I am impressed that more people are using and learning Pankration in other Countries than in my country.I am impressed because the fact that Pankration came from my country means that the people in my country should also learn pankration and that's what is not happening.

Greetings From The country that invented pankration,Greece.

  • You need to be a very experienced thrower in order to throw him like in the video. I know, as a practitioner of judo, aikibudo and wing chun, that it needs years to perfectionize a particular technique, especially throws.

  • THIS IS SPAAARTA!

  • This kick was invented by Leonidus in Sparta. Just to kick Persians on weekends. "THIS IS SPARTAAAAAA!!!" BOOOMMM!

  • THIS! IS! GASTRIZEIN!!!

  • more than enough to cause serious brain injury. so it doesnt matter if you punch him a couple times while hes down.

  • flips dont work

  • @electricguitar146 yep. and were so going to take an opinion from a guy whos youtube name is "electricguitar" rofl. you say they dont work? prove it with back up.

  • 0:39

    Dat whiplash

  • 1:24 - Suck my Ballz

  • there is no such thing as a fair fight. if you get in a fight, fight to win.

  • @jaimeT65 False

  • @StudentOfHungGar sorry but if you think different you are dumb, you think a dude that tries to mug you will go fisticuffs? okay... when you get stabbed, just say that it wasn't a fair fight and he hit you from behind.

  • @jaimeT65 A mugging and a fight are two different things... It is unfair to call another dumb when your own logic failed you.

  • That 2nd move is what we learned in High School wrestling lol, although we arent allowed to "slam" the guy down :(

  • loooooool jks Show and tell at my uni soon this would be perfect !

  • 0:41... BANG BANG BANG :P

  • Front kicks? please i can throw front kicks to peoples faces and still have as much power as me kicking them in the stomach.

  • WOW if only i had a guide and a human puppet i wouldnt need to go and practise in a room i would alrdy be a master and anyone who messed with me would leave with a broken bone and thats me going easy on him.

  • imma gonna use this at school

  • gravity...she is a bitch

  • el tercero es el q quiero

  • punching them in face afterwards = overkill!

  • pankration(παγκρατιο) is a martial art founded in greece,in 600 BC.parted from wrestling,and boxing.

  • THIS IS SPARTAAAA!!!!!

  • VERY GOOD(Y)!

  • @HellBoundHackers --- Pankration is one of the oldest martial art. They specific said that was the first martial art and after all other was created based on Pankration. Pankration include everything about martial arts. restling, box, kung fu,tae know do, wing chun, mau thai e.t.c., all are in Pankration. To be more specific, if you learn pankration you will know from every martial arts moves

  • @BraveManNewWorld dude I practice wing tsun/chun don't seperate wing chun from kung fu. wing chun is a style of kung fu

  • @slicendice94 oh shutup!

  • I put my friend in an achilles lock, and almost got him to tap and he refuses to believe that i did. what a tool

  • 1:11 kimura!

  • @kookahjoon Pankration predates Jiu JItsu so there's no need to call it by it's Japanese name.

  • @LonesomePaleRider is there any wrong call by using japanese language??

  • @kookahjoon There's no harm but it just doesn't seem to do Pankration any justice. Most of the western martial arts have fallen into obscurity due to eastern martial arts being more popular. I guess I'm just a purist. No hard feelings?

  • 1:22 groin in face LOL

  • swear after the double take down the grey man moves to teabag his opponent

  • I have learned alot of the moves in this vid in bjj, Muay Thai, and mma training. We call some of the move different names though.

  • 0:19 what kind of move is that? if u are strong enough to grab your opponent, then sure, you are going to grab him/her and throw him/her to the ground

  • @catgotelorihinal this is used in rugby all the time its not that hard to do with a bit of practice

  • Aikido is so much better

  • lol 1:16 TEABAG!!!! XD

  • LOL Tinadiyakan sa tiyan. In filipino that means kick to the gut :P

  • lool These guys always over exaggurate these moves. For example they said that the double leg takedown is sure to cause serious brain injury, lol do you know how much times people have done that to each other in fights? The last thing you need in a serious fight is these videos scaring you from using these harmless moves.

  • 1:24 i dont know what hurts more the shoulder lock or the fact that that guy's nuts are on your face

  • @Fr3aKBG LOL

  • @Fr3aKBG teabag lol :D

  • shit, this should be called the "king leonadis kick"

  • @Huhmasta funny thing is that the spartans actually practiced pankration...

  • @thejock55 why yes they did. "THIS IS SPARTA" kick must have been huge back then, like the ultimate finishing move.

  • ΑΡΧΑΙΑ,ΜΕΓΑΛΗ,ΑΘΑΝΑΤΗ ΕΛΛΑΔΑ!

    ANCIENT,GREAT,IMMORTAL GREECE!

  • @jmanavis You can use this in fights with the police in athen.

  • @Mollari77 true,true...although i am outside my country right now and my home in Greece is way too far from Athens :P....

  • Gastrizein... so that's how nazis took over Europe :D

  • @maistortrichko

gastrizein = γαστριζειν whish means beat on the stomach

  • @MrKSADERFOS i know dude i learn deutch :P I just joke

  • parece sambo!

  • I don't know what techniques people use in USA. But in eastern Europe in pankration we also use thai-boxing and kickboxing moves to be even more sufficient by knocking your opponent down. But personally me i don't prefer going against pankration fighter only using thai or kick striking techniques because it's scary like shit if a guy will catch your leg or arm he definitely gonna break it. Another thing that pankration fighter always attack you in full contact so you can expect anything.

  • that shoulder locks called a Kimora...i wish they named it properly

  • @sethers200 Kimura is the japanese name in jiu-jitsu, Pankration as been in the greek olympics 648 B.C, way before jiu-jitsu ever existed, so no need to call it by the japanese name.

  • double leg takedown ? lol and what if your opponents is a massive fat guy ?

  • @serpiccio don't use it if you can't pull it. There is more tricks in pankration to kill your opponent. In Europe when we train we use special body security equipment. Pankration it's not a joke if you can master it. I think it's the most sufficient fighting style in real combat, because to do such tricks properly you must have tremendous speed and muscle potential. Also by doing such deadly tricks you can get really bad injury so be careful.

  • ahh... thee old throwing move... i could not feel my back after the 12th throw from my master...

  • I love the multiple extra punches after he picks up the guys and slams his head on concrete

  • @TheHighAce Me 2 ace, me too...

  • al these must have hurt like a mother

  • i'm glad pankration (ancient mma) was at the first olympics but now mma isn't allowed in the olympics

  • actually pankration started as pancrateium and was a blend of boxing and wrestling with only a game hide as the glove

  • Guys, who cares? No one gets a trophy if they're right. Seriously. And aftpuser I'm not singling you out. All this bickering is just crazy. It's like, every time I go to watch a video, people are "YouTube" sparring instead of trading and sharing ideas and learning from each other's art. I have a lot of people I'm in contact with from around the world. We share knowledge and experiences and we grow our skills. Guys, we are better than this.

  • Heh, your right of course but its so much fun to show off the people who don't know any martial arts but tracy's karate taekwondo :P

I don't know, all they know is watching UFC which isn't anything to do with the martial arts they say really. Pankration can be strong but pretty weak aswell. So what martial arts do you do?

  • @44rumblefish dude ur a bitch, lol jk, dont even waste ur time with losers

  • @OrogDeMalfur, Dude, I'm sorry, but I'm not really sure what you are saying. There is a lot of slang in your comment. Not trying to insult you. I am just not sure what you are saying. In your first line, you seem to be calling me a female dog. Then you say don't waste "ur" time with losers. I looked at your profile which shows a young, balding fat man, sweating whilst planing a stand-bass or something. Is this you? Though I don't teach the bass, I do teach MMA. please elaborate.

  • @44rumblefish i wrote one sentence... and i said i was joking... and i said dont waste your time on OTHER losers... jeesh...

  • @OrogDeMalfur, Sorry, Dude. I owe you a public apology. I don't know a lot of the text terms, like jk. Well, I do now! Thought you were calling me a bitch. Sorry for the insult. Hope you accept my apology.

    Peace.

  • @44rumblefish THANK YOU!!!! Seriously if everyone got alone we would learn some cool stuff from each other. God bless you man

  • @44rumblefish Im confused when you say "guys". Like are you refering to just boys? I really hope your not cuz im a girl yet i have somebody thats gonna teach me and he recommended i watch these before we start my training. So please dont assume this is only for Guys. No offense.

  • @nevershoutrose shhhh....men are speaking

  • @ytrewqasfd Fuck you. Stupid sexist faggot.

  • @44rumblefish I wish I'd read such wise words more often on youtube :)

  • @44rumblefish its called Keyboard MMA~!

  • @noobtube1210

are you fucking serious????? Pankration existed thousands of years before MMA -.-

Americans......you think that you created everything????? well guess what you didnt.........

  • It's funny becuz ancient greek wrestling used submissions as well as pins, i dont know how the submission part was lost but its a rather interisting fact becuz it goes to show how what we think we have invented now may have been already tired thousands of years back

  • that gastrezien could snap a femur because it only take 1200 lbs of force to break. Also, this is all just some judo throws, and jiu-jitsu submissions
