There is some changes like in pummeling or clinch grapple or body locks to obtain a better positon u use a major transition or flick the left analog stick to counter. But its alot better the muay thai fighters can throw power punches, and they have some strong body lock throws, different game modes, but hard as hell to submit someone. Hope that helps.

If he did get taken down he could always get back to his feet. He pretty much invented sprawl and brawl as well.
